jag, that's terrible! I hope he's ok. At least he didn't wreck the car.
Schmerg, I love Lucille Ball.

There was nothing ugly and obnoxious about Lucy! I think she was that rare mix of gorgeous and brilliantly funny. HUGE compliment. In my opinion, only Madeline Kahn (my personal favorite) came close to her.
Yeah, he's fine, if not COMPLETELY STUPID. I gave him a lecturing though, and he claims he didn't feel a thing so he thought he'd be okay. Of course. Luckily, he isn't actually my boyfriend, just a kind of friendboy with favors, so I'm not all that concerned (at least it's better than his LAST mugshot, which was before I knew him. Hahahaha). I still have a major crush on that other guy who I have nothing in common with. *swoon*

And, oh my god, yes! Lucy was AMAZING. Gorgeous and smart and funny...maybe not really a singer (ahem...Mame?!) But otherwise...A-MAH-ZING!!!

Granted, in a strange turn of events, my we-really-have-nothing-in-common crush, actually kinda likes me too. Soooo that's new and fun. :)

Girl don't I KNOW it!!! The things that wind up in my mouth...good gracious. And I mean that in a strictly non-whoring way...well maybe a little whoring
Jag, your friendboy is, for the lack of a better word, SPECIAL!!! I bet your lecture went in one ear and out the other. Don't beat yourself up too bad about your decisions in men, we ALL make ludicrous decisions in others at times. It goes with the territory of being human.
So I start my clinicals next week and god help me but I keep having almost the same dream (for nearly 3 nights now) that I'm working at the hospital just doing my job as usual and all of a sudden I'm pulled into a supply closet by some nameless faceless girl and she literally just has her way with me. There's no talking and it's dark. When it's over she pushes me out of the closet and sends me on my merry way without a word and I have to do the "walk of shame". Hmmm...I wonder what Freud would think of that one? I think I've been watching too many Grey's Anatomy re-runs.
Oh and speaking of crushes I actually prefer the one's where you don't actually know the person, like at all. You might see them at the coffee shop or they come into your place of work all the time but you have yet to actually engage them in a conversation. Sometimes if I get to know my "crush" I wind up disappointed because when we haven't met I do the whole swooning girly thing and imagine that they're well traveled, read wonderfully poignant novels and have an enigmatic air about them. But then if I talk to them I found out that they've only been to Hoboken, only know the ins and outs of John & Kate's relationship, and there's absolutely nothing mysterious about them, except for their unwavering obnoxiousness. Wow I've obviously got some issues to work out about that huh?

ANYWAY, I am also completely unromantic. My roommate has a very idealized view of love and men, and it's funny to watch us do our things because we are such polar opposites in that department. I'm very realistic...love 'em and leave 'em and don't get attached, while she pines over any guy who holds the door open for her and wants a boyfriend and flowers and chocolates constantly. It's an awesome contrast.

I love Lucy...pun intended. I actually did a project on her in 3rd grade. I dressed up as her and everything! Love Madeline Khan too!
I agree about mysterious crushes...my friends and I give them their own little names. I was digging "Art Boy" for a while (fell for him when I saw him walking to art class, hence the name). My friend actually gave me a fake poem from him with my birthday present? Creepy? Maybe a little. :)
I went to the Gap today because my friend told me that they are having this HUGE sale. Buy one sweater, shirt, or t-shirt and get another FREE. WOWZA! I'm not a major Gap fan, but I pretty much fell IN LOVE with the softest sweater-hoodie EVER! But alas, I couldn't find another sweater I wanted. And the one I liked was 60 freaking dollars. Ha! But my friend and I are smart. He wanted two sweaters only to realize that the cost of the more expensive one and the cheap one free would make the cheap one more expensive than what is was selling for! So we combined sweaters and he bought the cheap one on his own. When we were at the counter and the lady was ringing up the cheap sweater she told him it was also a part of the sale, so he got the same sweater in black for nothing! For some reason I feel like we beat the system and I'm all proud...but right now I'm wearing the softest sweater in the world, regardless!

Oh...and Tofu...I totally DID mean in the whoring way.

I totally have a crush on an inappropriate guy.

My friends kept coming over and laughing because they'd see me gesticulating wildly from across the room and wonder what on earth I was talking about. (Usually something bizarre like ancient Mesopotamian cuneiform or my extreme fear of people with missing lower jaws.)
Isn't it weird how that happens? There's someone that you've never liked, and then you're in a room filled with all of your friends, and you spend the whole time hanging out with that person instead of your real friends? Something tells me I'm never gonna talk to this guy again, either!
