Faith, that's cool!

I've had several directors that tell me I remind them of Lucille Ball. Which should be a compliment, but my brother and sister HATE Lucille Ball, and everytime she's on TV, they talk about how ugly and obnoxious she is, so they took that as a horrible insult.

Jag-- yikes! Hope your boyfriend's okay. And at least it was only DUI. He could've been arrested for something a lot worse and weirder!

jag, that's terrible! I hope he's ok. At least he didn't wreck the car.

Schmerg, I love Lucille Ball.

Tofu- Girl you are too much. :) Let this be a lesson to you. Although it may be fun to put random, strange objects in your mouth, it can lead to unpleasant consuquences. I Enjoy Being a Girl

JAG- Of course I noticed that you were gone! :)

clever, Woodchuck is draft cider. It comes in a lot of different flavors and is absolutely delicious.

There was nothing ugly and obnoxious about Lucy! I think she was that rare mix of gorgeous and brilliantly funny. HUGE compliment. In my opinion, only Madeline Kahn (my personal favorite) came close to her.

Yeah, he's fine, if not COMPLETELY STUPID. I gave him a lecturing though, and he claims he didn't feel a thing so he thought he'd be okay. Of course. Luckily, he isn't actually my boyfriend, just a kind of friendboy with favors, so I'm not all that concerned (at least it's better than his LAST mugshot, which was before I knew him. Hahahaha). I still have a major crush on that other guy who I have nothing in common with. *swoon*

JAG- I still have a major crush on the person I have nothing in common with either...it's all good. :) Haha.

And, oh my god, yes! Lucy was AMAZING. Gorgeous and smart and funny...maybe not really a singer (ahem...Mame?!) But otherwise...A-MAH-ZING!!!

Jag- Those are the fun kind, because you can't agonize too much over them. Crushes suck when you get to that point.

Granted, in a strange turn of events, my we-really-have-nothing-in-common crush, actually kinda likes me too. Soooo that's new and fun. :)

Although it may be fun to put random, strange objects in your mouth, it can lead to unpleasant consequences.

Girl don't I KNOW it!!! The things that wind up in my mouth...good gracious. And I mean that in a strictly non-whoring way...well maybe a little whoring I Enjoy Being a Girl.

Jag, your friendboy is, for the lack of a better word, SPECIAL!!! I bet your lecture went in one ear and out the other. Don't beat yourself up too bad about your decisions in men, we ALL make ludicrous decisions in others at times. It goes with the territory of being human.

So I start my clinicals next week and god help me but I keep having almost the same dream (for nearly 3 nights now) that I'm working at the hospital just doing my job as usual and all of a sudden I'm pulled into a supply closet by some nameless faceless girl and she literally just has her way with me. There's no talking and it's dark. When it's over she pushes me out of the closet and sends me on my merry way without a word and I have to do the "walk of shame". Hmmm...I wonder what Freud would think of that one? I think I've been watching too many Grey's Anatomy re-runs.

Oh and speaking of crushes I actually prefer the one's where you don't actually know the person, like at all. You might see them at the coffee shop or they come into your place of work all the time but you have yet to actually engage them in a conversation. Sometimes if I get to know my "crush" I wind up disappointed because when we haven't met I do the whole swooning girly thing and imagine that they're well traveled, read wonderfully poignant novels and have an enigmatic air about them. But then if I talk to them I found out that they've only been to Hoboken, only know the ins and outs of John & Kate's relationship, and there's absolutely nothing mysterious about them, except for their unwavering obnoxiousness. Wow I've obviously got some issues to work out about that huh?

Hey, hey, hey. Now in my defense I said only knows about such things. Stock, you've got plenty more knowledge under your belt believe me. Ohhhh did you see the interview on ET with that hussy who claims that John basically said that he loved her then dumped her via text and now she feels embarrassed because "everyone" knows about it? The only reason anyone at all knows about that is because she's on the bloody TV talking about it.

See I keep up with John & Kate too I Enjoy Being a Girl.

tofu, I'm the same way with crushes. They never turn out well.

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

I'm a big fan of crushing on strangers too. There used to be hot guys that came into work that I refused to help, because I didn't want to actually converse with them and ruin the mystique. After all, I wouldn't want to get to know them and then find out they have three different mugshots chronicling their life. I Enjoy Being a Girl

Hahaha, I'm such a freak. I've only had two real 'crushes' and one weird semi-crush on a guy I didn't really know that lasted about two weeks. Of course, I feel especially creepy given that I'm seventeen and I've had a crush on the same dude since I was thirteen-- but I'm really not a romantic person, so it's really more of a back-of-the-mind kind of thing. Mostly, we're just like great friends.

^I get it, Schmerg. I VERY rarely get hardcore crushes on people...more like "I think you're hot and I'll admire you from afar" type deals that last a couple weeks. There is one man that I've liked since before I was legal, and I haven't seen him in a couple years...now that I'm of age (he's in his thirties, so it was a little skeevy that I dug him when I was 16, but he's HAWT), I hope I don't see him because I WILL sexually assault him and embarrass myself. He commented on one of my Facebook statuses the other day and I almost peed myself.

ANYWAY, I am also completely unromantic. My roommate has a very idealized view of love and men, and it's funny to watch us do our things because we are such polar opposites in that department. I'm very realistic...love 'em and leave 'em and don't get attached, while she pines over any guy who holds the door open for her and wants a boyfriend and flowers and chocolates constantly. It's an awesome contrast.

No one get me wrong...I love Ricci and Page! I was actually really excited to hear it! It's interesting to have some critique who has no previous knowledge- it's kind of freeing!

I love Lucy...pun intended. I actually did a project on her in 3rd grade. I dressed up as her and everything! Love Madeline Khan too!

I agree about mysterious crushes...my friends and I give them their own little names. I was digging "Art Boy" for a while (fell for him when I saw him walking to art class, hence the name). My friend actually gave me a fake poem from him with my birthday present? Creepy? Maybe a little. :)

I went to the Gap today because my friend told me that they are having this HUGE sale. Buy one sweater, shirt, or t-shirt and get another FREE. WOWZA! I'm not a major Gap fan, but I pretty much fell IN LOVE with the softest sweater-hoodie EVER! But alas, I couldn't find another sweater I wanted. And the one I liked was 60 freaking dollars. Ha! But my friend and I are smart. He wanted two sweaters only to realize that the cost of the more expensive one and the cheap one free would make the cheap one more expensive than what is was selling for! So we combined sweaters and he bought the cheap one on his own. When we were at the counter and the lady was ringing up the cheap sweater she told him it was also a part of the sale, so he got the same sweater in black for nothing! For some reason I feel like we beat the system and I'm all proud...but right now I'm wearing the softest sweater in the world, regardless!

I don't think that I really am in an environment anymore where I can have stranger crushes. I don't really see the same people all that often. But TOTALLY had them all through high school and college. Yeah, they're fun. My fun crushes are my gay boy crushes. Because you don't have to go to the agonizing stage of things. Just at the fun and flirty stage.

Oh...and Tofu...I totally DID mean in the whoring way. I Enjoy Being a Girl

So I was at this really fun, hilarious party last night filled with every amazing and fun person you can imagine... and yet I spent six hours talking pretty much exclusively to this slightly creepy dude that I've always vaguely disliked. We conversed about pretty much anything you can imagine, because it turns out that this slightly creepy dude and I are almost exactly alike in nearly every way, and we decided that we're probably twins separated at birth.

My friends kept coming over and laughing because they'd see me gesticulating wildly from across the room and wonder what on earth I was talking about. (Usually something bizarre like ancient Mesopotamian cuneiform or my extreme fear of people with missing lower jaws.)

Isn't it weird how that happens? There's someone that you've never liked, and then you're in a room filled with all of your friends, and you spend the whole time hanging out with that person instead of your real friends? Something tells me I'm never gonna talk to this guy again, either!
