We just opened up a bottle of Cab. I haven't decided if I like it yet or not. I think it needs to open up a little bit.

She did. She tried to put some more goldish highlights in, but it just didn't make any difference. She said to give it a few days and if I still didn't like it she would put MORE highlites in. I'm going on vacation for 10 days on Saturday, so I'm just going to forget about it.

Poor thing. She's already hormonal! LOL!
Where are you going for 10 days? Lucky. I'm not going anywhere else this summer except for Labor Day weekend to a college reunion.

Dan, did you tell her you wanted to look like Betty DRAPER or Betty WHITE? :P
Just kidding...it's not that bad. Give it a day or two to get used to it. You're too close to it!
Oh and speaking of "too close", I was at dinner on the patio of a bar and grill in my neighborhood Friday night. My friend was telling me this story about getting laid off, I'm stuffing my face with nachos, and I look up and my ex boyfriend is walking out of the bar onto the patio. I start panicking going "oh my god..oh my god.." and Melissa thinks I'm reacting to her story and is all "I know, right?" LOL. I literally covered my face with my hand..totally involuntarily. I have no idea if he saw me, but he was sitting like 2 tables away with his new girlfriend and another couple.
I of course had to walk right past his table when we left and knowing me, I was afraid I'd suffer a pratfall at his feet. But I managed to escape unharmed.
I don't HATE the guy, but I'm bitter over the new girl because when we broke up he told me it was because he didn't want a serious relationship. Blah blah blah. We were still friends til he started dating her. I still have some unresolved feelings for him...he was "the one that got away". So it's best for me to stay away.
We have a mutual friend who said I was ridiculous for not going over to say hello to him, but c'mon! I don't want to be the ex-girlfriend walking up to them and their friends..you know?

BETTY WHITE? LMAO! And I would not have walked up to them either! Don't give him the satisfaction!! Jackass!
Stock, we are just going to my inlaws house at the beach in Stone Harbor, NJ. It's kind of a vacation, but with the inlaws there all the time, it's less than stellar. You can't walk around in your underwear or anything...

Yeah, the in-laws thing kinda sucks, but at least you're on vaca.
Newgirl, that happened to me with an ex too, except he married the bitch 8 months after he broke up with me. Needless to say I'm sure he was seeing her at the same time he was seeing me.

The roads are no longer safe. I have my driver's license.
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

danmag, I don't think it's that bad either. Like you said, it'll lighten up in no time.
newgirl, good for you for taking the high road. Those situations are tough, but I would have handled it the same way.
SAMN, congrats on the license...even if you don't like driving. It'll be a lot more convenient.
