Kels, I really, really hope your mom is alright! I'm a huge dog lover, but you're right...they shouldn't have a pet if they can't control it. Sad all around.

Maisie, I'm sorry about Skipperdee! He was so adorable. But now he's in a better place, running around with all my dead pets, and everyone else's.

Schmerg, congratulations! I'm really excited for you! I bet Narnia is a really, really fun show to do.

Weez, that teddy bear is GROSS. Our body expels that **** for a reason. Nastiness.

I don't remember the turtle, but I'm sorry for his passing! Henry wants a turtle, but the pet stores in NY state aren't allowed to sell turtles.

He freaking wants a parrot AND a lizard. Not gonna happen.

Somehow I missed the teddy bear, and I think I'm glad for it.

Well a parrot is too expensive. So if he gets one of them it would be the lizard. I'm sort of leaning towards neither.

My friend has a Russian tortoise that she got from a breeder in Pennsylvania. That tortoise has been around for years and years... and she's very easy to take care of. The only problem is trimming the toenails, because they have blood vessels in them. I've pet-sat her tortoise loads of times.

I tried to trim my cat's toenails once and made her bleed poor thing. I don't think I could do that again.

Me too, Stockard. I tried to clip my dog nails and he cried so loud I threw the clipper across the room and never did it again. My vet does it now.

Aw, get Henry a lizard! They're easy to take care of and don't hang on for years.

Russian tortoises are awesome, by the way. My dad's a big reptile lover, and he got one five years ago from...somewhere (underground tortoise ring?). It was sickly, apparently, and he nursed it back to health. Anyway, I love that thing. He's very surprisingly cute.

My girl cat wails so loud when I clip her nails, you'd think I was skinning her. She's super squirmy and I'm so afraid I'll hurt her, but I just do whatever I can and get the rest later. I feel bad betraying her trust when she rubs up on my leg or sits next to me...I'm grabbing her and clipping nails as fast as I can.

I had the vet do it once but they charged me $15. I'm cheap.

Pool is now closed. And while I'm glad to have it done, it is sort of sad looking at it all covered up with that big green cover.

Had an awful day yesterday (basically I effed up my finances and got a lecture about it from my stepdad and my best friend) but you know what will knock you out of your "life-sucks" mode.... running into the hot guy you have been flirting with and getting a big hug from him Seriously this guy is Chilean and smokin' hot and just seems to get hotter....

I can tell you at least one thing that might help with that. I do believe they said that the Heath Bar Sundae has more fat than any other dessert of any other restaurant. Does that help? :)

This may sound lame, but Weight Watchers has a new ice cream bar that is a take-off of the Snickers Ice Cream Bar. OMG heaven for 3 points.
