I effing HATE proofs

I cannot stand them. They are the most pointless, annoying, and frustrating things on this planet. Whoever invented them hopefully died a long painful death. Argh!!!!!

What is this? Do you mean evidence? You hated your evidence? When we close proofs, the case is finished, what is wrong with that?

In math/logic, brdlwyr, you have to do these things called proofs. They're usually with geometry or logic; like, you'll have to prove two shapes congruent or two statements exactly opposite, etc, but you have to use all sorts of theorems. They're horrid buggers.

I'm doing tons of proofs in Geometry class and HATE them..I found them pointless that we have to prove things that we know are going to be true. I'm telling you, math.is.pointless. In the words of my Biology teacher, "HELLOOOO! It's 2005, buy a damn calculator!"

I did proofs all through university. The first-year math course required for the Computer Science program had the audacity of being named "Calculus!" -- exclamation mark and all.

Even after getting the hang of doing proofs, they were still hellish.

Seriously, Geometry and Algebra II are 2 of the most worthless classes I've ever taken.

I made an 84 on my Algebra II exam today!

Good G-d! Don't talk about math! It is a nightmare!!! I rather write a 20 page paper on the pythagorean theorem that take a math class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ewww proofs...a la Mathematics B in the NYS Regents Curriculum. Thank goodness I'm done with that, well actually no, I take that back...Calculus is worse, DIE trig and radians.

Proofs were, and still are, a bitch to deal with. I wasn't good at them, and I had a cruddy teacher for Geometry.

Personally I love doing proofs. It is probably my favorite part of math. Finding out how things are or can be the same. Yay for math!

I loved proofs. They were so logical and made so much sense. Of course, I can't remember anything about them today except that there was a 2 column thing or something or other.

I hated proofs in the beginning, but as the year went on they got easier. Enjoy them as you can because the stuff in geometry gets harder than proofs (at least for the geometry course I took last year).
