I gotta work, too...

In a way I hope it stays like this - there would probably be less people in line for the DRS lottery tonight...

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I feel for ya guys. But, in a way (as much as you'd love to crawl back into bed) isn't it better to have to work on an icky, rainy day than a beautiful, sunny day when all you'd want to do is be outside enjoying it? Well, at least that's what I'm telling myself as I curl up on the couch, trying to put a dent in my tower of homework!

Good luck at your lottos tonight!

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

At least it is not the torrential monsoon they predicted.

That's true, I'd rather work on a rainy day than a sunny day anytime! And now I am home, so I can take a nap!
I hope the rain doesn't make the Yankees-Red Sox home opener called off tomorrow!

I know! It looks like it's supposed to rain tomorrow, but I haven't really seen details on how much/when it's supposed to start/end. All I know is right now, it's looking pretty decent for Wednesday's game!

I'm still so sad that I can't go! But at least I can go Friday and I'm still waiting on my friend to see about going tomorrow (if it doesn't rain).
I just want summer to get here soon so there are no more rainy days!

Ooooh Liotte!!! Be sure to keep me posted if you do happen to make it to tomorrow's opener! If not, I hope the weather's better for Friday...Sorry you couldn't make it on Wednesday too. I have a feeling we're going to get trounced, so it'd be good times for you and the other Yankees fans. If they could just squeak a win out on Wednesday, I'd be a happy girl! I do love my boys, but they were looking rather pathetic during spring training. The starting pitching seems woefully pathetic. Oh well, a lot can change during the season!

I hear that one Mabel! I hope the Yankees win, they are coming back with some vengence after last years playoffs! And we'll do it in the rain if we need to! Have fun on Wednesday, we'll go to another game together this summer!

Aaah! Rain! *gibbers in the corner*

Seriously, we're completely flooded here. I walked outside for about ten minutes and got completely soaked below the waist- and that was with an umbrella.

Ah, well. New jeans, new socks, and a pair of handy-dandy snow boots will take care of things.
