It is, of course, inferior to a nice hot pie, with juicy sausage, fresh mushrooms and peppers 'n' onions, but when you are broke and hungry you can do a lot worse than one of those dreadful looking $5 pizzas from Little Caesars.
We'll be on a peanut butter and jelly budget for our upcoming two weeks trip, so I guarantee there will be a couple of Hot N' Ready meals in our future.
99 cent slices are a godsend when you are a little drunk or just hungry and walking by.
Amen to praising the $.99 slice shops. There's one on the corner of my block and it's a temptation I can rarely resist.

Our "go to" meal the night before payday was the $5 footlong but those are becoming an endangered species. The two of us can split a Caesars and feel full.
Also, if you have an Aldi nearby, get a couple of these Spinach & Goat Cheese Pizzas for the Freezer. $3.49. Awesome. (That picture was too huge and freaky looking)

We can split one and have enough left over for a great snack later. It's awesome.
When I lived alone and was a pretty broke graduate student, I could usually turn a large pizza into 2-3 meals. Not the healthiest option, but it was delicious and fit my budget at the time. I've been trying to eat healthier for the last few years and it's paid off in many ways, but the pizza at the $.99 slice shop on my corner is my most frequent cheat.
You know what would go good with that.

DiGiorno's combo meals are the nastiest. Spelling it as "Wyngz" doesn't make it look or taste any better, for the record.
I think DiGiorno made the pizza and cookie combo for stoned college kids.
My son was at hockey camp a couple weeks ago and they got Little Caesar's pizza a couple times for lunch and he loved it. We don't have one close to our house though.
Pizza is like Sondheim...even when it's bad it's still pretty good.

No way! Pizza AND cookies? That would be AWESOME
Ehh, some pizza is just too gross. Like pizza from Scranton, PA or one I had in Michigan.
.99 cents Fresh Pizza - Ave of the Americas between 8th and 7th just really, truly rules my world. I've been downright piggish in that establishment.
Dominos used to be the Kmart of pizza, but they've since turned it around. I actually am fond of their pies.

Yeah but imagine if they sold Pizza....WITH COOKIES! DUDE!
Thanks Joe, now I really want pizza and cookies.
I happen to believe that pizza IS healthy food.

I used to love their pepperoni pizza because they would get the pepperoni very crispy. Lately I don't think they cook it long enough to crisp the pepperoni.
I used to be addicted to Papa John's because it came with garlic butter.
I used to love the Stouffer's French bread pizza in high school:
Or what about cookies?

NO WAY! That would rule! Or better yet- what if the Pizza CAME WITH cookies?
