Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act

Are we talking about South FL saying he didn't like looking at naked men or something? And some people thought it sounded a bit homophobic, which he agreed with, and so he apologized and deleted the comments?

Or was there some other incident I'm not aware of?

Reg. You're on the right track and I'm glad you are addressing it, unlike the others on here who would normally bash a poster for writing the things that South Florida somehow got away with.

There are multiple incidents and South Florida admitted as much in a recent thread, as well as in a PM to me. He did apologize but there is no reason to let him off the hook. It was homophobia and bigotry at its worst. Similar to what's happening there in Indiana.

Don't be fooled by the loser legends, like PJ and Nemo, choosing to ignore South Florida's genuinely offensive remarks. Even Jordan, who despises me, is on the same page with me about this.

Homophobia and bigotry at its worst for expressing dislike of certain people's profile pictures on the Internet? Oh yes, the face of homophobia in America doesn't get any worse than that.

Let's hope LH doesn't try to find out South Florida's identity. Because that always goes well.

True. If by similar you mean nothing at all like what is happening in Indiana.

Look, I'm pretty sure South Florida is somewhat mentally unhinged, but that doesn't make the 'band any less unhinged himself.

Anyone who reads S. Fl's posts knows he's not a homophobe.

No matter how much you want to make it true, it's just not.

Had made some tactless comments early on, but I don't believe for one second he is anything but supportive of gays and our struggle in his heart.

Meanwhile, friggin' Arkansas just passed a similar bill.

ETA: sorry, not passed. It passed the House but the governor hasn't signed it yet.

Is this country going to have a second civil war because some people don't want to make cakes?

As horrifying of a decision the governor made to sign the bill into law, we shouldn't ignore the congressmen who voted on the bill to become a law. They are equally at fault.

Directly from South Florida via Private Message: "[my post] mocked gay guys with ripped pics as their picture."

If mocking gay guys because they enjoy pictures of shirtless muscular men isn't homophobic, I'm not sure what it is. Too bad South Florida deleted the posts from the other thread where he expressed disgust (yes, he used the word 'disgusting') over public display of affection by same-sex couples and, in particular, homosexual men.

Oh, good lord, the man apologized. He's trying to be more understanding. Continuing to ride his a$$ makes you look like a bully.
