For NYC?
Ireland's open 365.
linnie, I plan on flying out the Seattle in May and hanging out with some big shot director out there named DD!
DD - I cannot wait. I really need to call Shameys and start working on the arrangements. I've been telling everyone, hehe! My dad is like "You are going where? To do what? With who?" But then I tell him I am going with Shameys and he's like "Oh that nice girl that picked you up here? That's good, have a nice time!" lol.
DD - yes. It's nearly all set.
Linnie, what are you glaring at me for?

Dunno, just seemed like a good idea at the time, Deet. You know I can't hate you.
Tink, when did you and shamey meet up?
You have no reason to hate me, Linnie.

Good, because if I did it's still be impossible for me to do so.
I'm watching Passions in concert, Why hast Audra forsaken me. Soapy is not impressed.
Truthfully, I was never a fan until I saw 110 IN THE SHADE. That was the first time I ever saw the woman act. Her voice has always been sublime, but it wasn't until I saw 110 that I was completely won over by her.

As I've never seen her, I'll just say for the umpteenth time that I love Ragtime, especially her. And Mitchell. He's fantastic. Have Man of LaMancha with him too.
linnie, My father lives somewhat in her neck of the woods, so when I had gone down in September to visit, I went out with Shameys for an evening. It was a lovely evening of coloring, ocean watching, and pointless driving, lol.
That was my problem with her in 110. We saw the woman A-C-T.
Audra in Ragtime...
*happy sigh*
Methinks I shall listen to some Ragtime.

Wiz, that's pretty much one of the only thought that's condescended to cross my mind for the last month. Can't get enough of it, still.
Listening to her in RAGTIME doesn't convey the wooden performance she gave onstage. And I'm sorry, Rath, you are too blinded by another sterling performance in 110... to be completely objective about Audra's performance.
I love Audra!
*Backs out of thread slowly*
Not possible, D2, as I saw that other performance AFTER I saw Audra. I was very excited to see Audra and went in expecting to love her, as I had loved her in concert.
Can you please stop analyzing me now?
Who's analyzing you? God, you're a grumpy one today.

Hey JG2!
Deet, pity about that. Well, I'll just say that I like her vocal performance. Not ina poition to comment further. Poor Actr will have a Heart attack if he walks in now.
ETA: Avoid Nazi Thread. It's nasty.
I have to turn this off. It was like forever ago when she was in ragtime, I barely remember her performance, but even at that age. (8 or 9 I think) I was sort of captivated by here.
This is just sad. Lupone isn't making it any better.
I'm not grumpy, but this is the second time in about a week that you've tried to make a grand pronouncement of my motives and been completely off. So stop.

Hey Soap. What's new and exciting?
I am back and I have wine! Well, virtual wine. (I was just backing out because I posted yet another photo of Sara.)
