AWSOME!!!
I have zero money. My friend just called to see if I wanted to come Christmas shopping, but I don't want to face the malls with no money, so I said no. I used AP homework as an excuse.
*the cows enter with cocoa for all*
Homework is the best excuse to get out of anything that you don't want to be a part of.
For instance;
"Hey, you want to see Hannah Montana in concert with me?"
"Oh no, I'm sorry, I have a huge test and lots of homework to catch up on!"

Especially because I really should be analyzing sonnets right now!
I'm totally not.
Radi, did you catch Alan on Tin Man?
Analyzing sonnets...that sounds thrilling!
I really don't mean that in a sarcastic way.
Heh, Johanna just squeaked. I never noticed that before, but during "Ladies in their Sensitivities"/"Ah Miss", there's a part where she says "Anthony!" in a very shrill tone. (Sorry, that's just a random Sweeney Todd 2005 cast recording observation).

What happened to the Hannah Montana excuse! It made me giggle.
I thought it was silly but I'll bring it back now seeing that it brings you joy.

I'd use it, but my sister is actually down here talking to me and not listening to Hannah. Unusual...
I like sonnets, lol! They're pretty! I especially like that Shakespeare's "Sonnet 18" is written to his male lover.
Sonnet 18 is my favorite! I used to have it completely memorized. David Gilmour does a wonderful rendition (he puts it to music, and it's just beautiful).
"Mrs. Lovett, how I did without you all these years I'll never know..." 16 more days. Johnny better rock the sh*t out of Sweeney or I'm going to kick his ass.

PM: I know! I feel that Sweeney Todd will either be extraordinary, or awful. I don't think there's room for "eh".

I've never seen/heard Sweeney Todd, so I'll be surprised no matter what. I'm so excited, though!
And I can get in to the movie on my own...legally!
It will be extraordinary.
DGG, I was SOOO excited the first time I went to a movie and I got to use an ID to get in, of course the worker ruined my moment by not asking for an ID.

It always kills me that I had to wait to do certain things at a certain age, but that, as soon as I do them, my younger siblings are able, too.
At least this is one thing I can really do and they can't!
What's wrong with this excuse:
No, I'd rather not join you in seeing Hannah Montanah b/c I hate the little bitch. But thanks!
Count me excited for Sweeney too.
Ha ha!

YAY for hating Hannah Montana!
I have such an awful sore throat, and a big solo in a concert tomorrow night...AGH!
There's nothing wrong with that excuse, Taz.
I too got that distinct feeling, nitsua. Though I feel there's something in it for everyone; Johnny Depp fangirls get Johnny Depp wearing tight pants and acting out his angst in forms of extreme brutality with razor coupled with an accent that resembles Jack Sparrow, Sondheim fans get revamped orchestrations and a new twist on a great show, and Burton fans get to see him tackle a musical that has the familar dark humour often found in his films.
I'm just hoping Johnny lives up to my expectations. This is one of the roles that I wish I could play so he'd better step up and be fabulous! :)
I'm also excited for Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day although it's not due out until March. Amy Addams reminds me so much of Sally Bowles, not to mention Lee Pace looks adorable.
