I'm getting the boys ready for bed.
And somehow, I doubt being able to post is going to help me around 7pm tomorrow.
maybe it's a new england thing, but i would NEVER wash dishes by hand if i had a dishwasher. even if it took 2 times to get them clean: the machine would trump any palmolive wrinkles
DGG: I was joking.

I know, dear.
And I heart our dishwasher.
The parental units are home, though, so I am going to bed. Goodnight, lovies.
So I was reminded by my sister today that a classmate from her graduating class had had a similar fall like mine and died from hemorrhaging. Like I need to hear that right now. I suppose it's payback from the time I told her as kids that they'd have to amputate her hand after a small cut became infected.
Good night, DGG.
Stagey, you certainly know how to make a dramatic entrance, don't you?
Well, I always wear the big yellow dish gloves when washing dishes. I will not dare possibly ruin my manicure!
Aww thanks D2 and DGG!! That's why I love you!
Right back at ya!
DGG, you are a total sweetheart!!!
*collapses*
holy...long...day...
DGG, I am SO BAD with shots. I had to get the third in the series of HPV shots AND blood drawn yesterday, and I was pretty good about it but the nurses were having a good old time reminiscing about how horrible I used to be when I was younger. Apparently I was a horror to deal with when it came to needles.
I'm trying to figure out everything i've eaten today. It wasn't significantly more than usual. Well, I suppose I should go eat a big bowl of ice cream to make up!
Do that.
One time----and this was in 1999---I went to the doctor to get a blood test and the nurses gave me shots in the veins. I was sobbing uncontrollably and I couldn't stop until I was in the car. I never wanna get shots like that again.
Ice cream is amazing.
When I was a baby, I had a good 25 or so surgeries (congenital glaucoma...lots of different stuff done to my eyes) and I don't remember anything about those surgeries but the IVs afterwards...ugh, it makes me shudder just thinking about them taking those things out. UGH!
Stagey, you won't die, I promise, just make sure that if you start seeing dead people or hearing voices you go to the hospital. Or a reality TV show producer. Either one works.
yikes, both incidents sound unpleasant.
I am fine with blood being taken from me, but i despise getting a shot of anything!
a shot of tequila, Tink?
hehehe, ok that kinda shot is all good.
Hey all.
I was fine with getting blood drawn until I had a weird thing going on three years ago and had to get it taken every other day. Most nurses are great. One chick couldn't find a vein, so she would pull the needle halfway out and then stick it back in. She did that like eight times. It was HELL. I have been a little freaked out since that incident.

JG2 - that's almost exactly what happened when I joined the Air Force, and I haven't been ok with the process since!
Aww, I used to love shots of tequila. (Damn teetotalism!)
A shot through the heart

Ha! I just did that in a concert, Taz!
I'm terrified of all things doctor/dentist. No reason, it's just my greatest fear. I hate it.
Good morning, lovies!
Tazzy, how ironic...I was having a mini Jovi sing a long yesterday in adult land!
Morning all! Ugh, back to pool tonight. The two weeks off were bliss.
Good morning, Avs.

He asked me a question this morning.
4 words total! No, wait...6!
In German or English?
And was this what he asked:
"DGG, will you marry me, please?"
