The rite of passage age is 80 - and so far, Miriam is the only one who qualifies. We're all wannabes.

Is KelRel the one who taught a class using BWW as a teaching tool?

Yes, but the spelling and punctuation were FRIGHTFUL! I fear for our nation's future.

Oh yes I was here for that and I got some interesting PMs from him when I told him that he shouldn't do that or introduce his students (middle schoolers) to this site as it isn't always "age appropriate".

I agree with Wonder........there are some very young posters here who have posted threads that amaze me, and some of the older ones have posted things that I think 'What WERE uyou thinking?"

I don't think it's about age, I think it's about attitude, and character.

EDIT: BTW, doodlenyc--- I LOVE your little "Precious Moments figurine" of Regan in The Exorcist. LOL!

Ok, as someone who is seventeen, I have to speak up. I have never been aware of any discrimination on these boards against teens. Ok, so I lied. There is. Although I haven't been discriminated against personally, there are people who have been. And I can understand that. I guess people discriminate against us because they think that us teenagers don't know our Broadway as well as some of the old timers on this board, and that we only listen to "Wicked" or "Rent" or "The Phantom of the Opera". Yes, it's wrong to say that someone knows all about Broadway if they only heard of one friggen show, but it's just as wrong to say that someone is any less of a fan because of the lack of exposure they have. I am a case in point. Yes, I like things such as "Wicked", which is incidently looked down on upon this board, but I also like "Oklahoma!", "Sweeney Todd", "West Side Story", and other musicals. Even if I didn't like these other things, it would still be wrong, because my mum has something against me going to Broadway shows unless they are the real horrific ones like "Mama Mia". Maybe other teens on this board are the same way: They would like to get access to Broadway, but can't, unless it's through something like "Rent".

In short, is it unfair that teens are getting discriminated against. Yes. I guess what people fear is a teenager acting like a Broadway know-it-all if they have only seen one show and if they haven't bothered looking up the rest of 'em. Which is understandable, but guess what: Most of them don't. So don't discriminate based on age on this board.

Ok, that's my rant. Flame away.

You insult me, I ignore you. That's how the system works around here.

I've heard a rumor that on the day of your 25th birthday you receive a "special treat" from Papa...and from that day on your part of the BWW elite.
