If there was no feud before, maybe the whole split-screen thing started one - seems pretty disrespectful way to send someone off.

That's how Tyler Perry shoots his entire soap opera!

I'm just happy to have the damn thing back on the air again! Now I know what my Sundays will be built around. (Nope, no DVR in our house, luddites that we are.)
MVP last night was Margo Martindale-- love her and hope she's got an arc that will keep her character in the mix all season long.

I don't even watch this show and I'm enjoying this JM/AP drama. I bet every entertainment "journalist" is hard at work lobbying Archie Panjabi's publicist for an exclusive.

I don't miss Panjabi's character at all. She was initially quite interesting and then became too disassociated from everyone else in the cast.

Whoever is in charage of the wigs on this show must also be on Julianna Margulies's bad side.

I hope Lifetime makes a movie about the feud.

The JM/AP battle was never much of an even match for me. I'm happiest with GOOD WIFE episodes that feature Juliana in every scene. Archie's character? Not so much. Couldn't wait for her to disappear for good. She was one more in a long line of slightly villainous, vaguely untrustworthy bisexual/lesbian characters on TV lately that seem to be required for any nighttime soap. That cliche is showing up even more this season than last-- just take a look at recent episodes of Gotham and Empire. Oy, enough already.

Really? That's... an odd read on Kalinda.

Julianna's wig this week did need some serious help... The wig dept. must be Team Archie, cuz they had Julianna fvcked UP.

One of my favorite shows although it wrecks havoc on my DVR given that it never starts on time.

I always have that show set to record for 2 hours later than normal.

Why call yourself SmoothLover if you're going to use an avatar of a guy with hair?

Hmm. I never thought of it that way.I just assumed he was one of those people. Not smooth himself, but, you know, with a proclivity for a certain type that, if you're not, you should just move along.
I think that's why AP/KS was given the heave-ho. Girl had more hair on her chest than any of the guys she had to deal with. She wasn't taking any prisoners or any **** from the likes of La Margulies. I miss her!

The Good Wife has managed to find a great way to rejuvenate itself. I kind of stopped watching it after the Josh Charles thing but I'm really pleasantly surprised. Let's just see if Peter (Chris Noth) ends up running against Hillary! Other than that, job well done; keep it up.

I probably heard incorrectly but thought he was looking to be on her ticket?

Right, but he has to position himself by initially running in his own right.

Right now the show seems dominated by 3 awesome women of a certain age who are battling for position of top queen bee: Stockard Channing, Christine Baranski, and the divine Margo Martindale. (Actually 4 if you include Mary Beth Peil.) I'm just waiting for a good cat fight to break out between at least 2 of them. The guys all seem to be sidelined for now, which to me is as it should be. Even Alan Cumming's character has lost any logic and is just squeaking by on the strength of Cumming's personal form of crazy.
Until that hot PI makes his move on Alicia, none of the guys in the cast merits my interest right now.

I agree that Martindale is wonderful to watch and hope they keep her character around at least until Peter loses the election. I also love the budding romance between Jackie and Howard! Not so interesting lately is Stockard Channing as Veronica, Alicia's mother. It might be kind of fun to have Howard try to date Jackie and Veronica concurrently and let those two have an old broads throwdown! .

I feel like for the past couple of years virtually the only notes Baranaski gets to hit are indignant and huffy.

I'm rewatching the good wife from the beginning of season 1 and it's the greatest decision I've ever made. This show was so good back then.
