I don't understand why she hates Grace, as annoying as she is. Grace practically kept the law office open by finding clients, acts as their secretary, and prevented them from being evicted a couple of weeks ago. I understand the Jesus stuff is annoying, but I mean...

Well, she did give up thirteen years of her life and career to raise them - maybe she's thinking of the alternate life she could have had with Will, and wondering "were they worth it"?
It probably won't last long, anyway.

Do we know if this is definitely the last season or not? I feel like if it is they need to start wrapping up storylines soon.

I know people on this board have heard from actors in the show that it's ending and Juliana Margulies was quoted the other day about being unemployed soon. Plus the Kings are done after this year. I guess it's possible CBS is scrambling, trying to figure out a way to keep it going, which is why they haven't announced it officially. I'm for sure out after this season even if it does come back.

I just saw this. The plot about University shutting down the newspaper because it wrote an article defending Israel offended some Palestinian and Sensitive students was surprisingly accurate.

CBS finally officially confirmed it tonight during the show's Super Bowl ad touting the "final 9 episodes of the series." They promised a huge twist, so who knows, maybe Alicia will wind up as President or something.

I think it will end with Alicia and Eli getting married.

Mary Beth April told me last year the series would be ending this season so I've had time to accept it. I'm still sad since I will always consider it one of the greatest series ever to be broadcast on television.

I know it's past its best, but I'm sad too.
I never even noticed about the word count in all the episode titles until somebody on here pointed it out (Whizzer?) - y'know, seven words per title in the first season, counting down to just one for this season - so I guess it was always inevitable. I was kinda hoping they'd go on if only to see what they'd do about that.

The first seasons titles were one word, two words for the 2nd and so on until the fourth season when they stopped. But this season all episodes have been one word titles again.

Oh, you're right.
Season five was three words, season six two, and now we're back to one - so it seems like they made up their minds after season four, when they started going backwards.

Shocked they decided during the Superbowl, and a few months ago I think CBS said they have a huge line of people that could continue doing the show without the Kings, but I guess this is for the best. It's been such a consistently good show, so Im sad to see it go.

Who would you like to see get a spin-off?
I vote Elsbeth.

Just as it started to get good again. Jeffrey Dean Morgan ... sigh.

God, yes. I wish they were able to use her more on the show- what a fascinating character, and so well played by Carrie Preston.

No! I would not want an entire series like that episode where we were in Elsbeth's head.

I'd like a series that follows Alicia's kids around in their daily lives and shows them doing everyday things like watching tv, sleeping, eating etc. in real time.

I like a series that followed around Jackie and Howard.

I'm with ya, YWIW! Mr. Morgan is almost too yummy!
I plotzed last night when Ruth told Alicia to get away from Peter as soon as possible! I'd like to see Peter assassinated and Jackie and Alicia battling it out to finish out his term as Governor. Jackie should win, of course, just to send Eli over the edge!
