It retracts into the slit seen behind it in the picture and stays under the blubber in their abdomen.

The scary thing is that I actually knew about the whole whale thing and where it retracted to! Of course, that's because I used to want to be a marine biologist.

The heights picture didn't get to me so much, but both of the desk pictures made me claustrophobic just to look at them!! I really don't think I could work in either of those without have panic attacks!!
