Jon and Kate Plus 8 — Page 5

Ah, I love Jon and Kate Plus 8. I especially love Jon-- he's adorable, and I feel kind of bad for him, but at least he gets so much love from all of those little kids. It's cute how they all run up to him yelling, "DADDY!" when he comes home from work.
I was exactly like Mady when I was little (and kind of still am). I was the older daughter, and then my parents had premature twins who got all the attention. But I grew up and I became a crazed theatre kid-- I'm sure Mady'll turn out fine, and after all that experience in front of a camera, she'll probably be a great actress.

Mady is definitely dramatic enough to be an actress!
It looks like their moving into the new house tonight!

It's on right now! Aiden's still adorable and Kate's still a bitch.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

Actually, I didn't see her be a bitch once that episode. And that fridge did look pretty gross.
Alexis is my favorite. She just kills me.
Edited because I wrote "close" instead of "gross"

It's weird, Mady reminds me of me, Joel reminds me of my brother when he was little, and Leah reminds me of my sister when she was little. I guess that's why they're my favourites. But I think Aaden's the cutest... though they're all cute.

Does anyone know where I can find the first two "episodes" from Discovery Health online? I've looked and looked, but can't find it.

They come as bonuses when you buy the complete first and second seasons, but I'm not sure you can buy them individually.

I haven't seen the individually, but I picked up seasons 1&2 on DVD from Target for about $15 (I believe) and they are on there.

I used to watch it faithfully and I love the kids, I just can't take Kate anymore. Having said that I watched tonight out of curiosity, I had to see the new house. It's a wonderful house and acerage and I know the family will love it. I think Kate may mellow some now that she's got breathing room. I'm going to start watching it again.
I may not know a lot about theater but I know that I love it.

That house is huge! I guess when you do a reality show and write a book- you get some good payouts. Alexis is my favorite as well. I'm not a fan of Kate either. She kind of treats her husband like Vicki does on Real Housewives. Anytime she can get in a public dig of her husband she does. However, the thing that bothers me the most is her HAIR! Please, get that one side OUT OF HER FACE! I also hates how she put the low-lights in and I HATE that puff in the back! ok, I'll get off my hair rant now!

Mady kicking one of the little girls repeatedly...now that was just precious...NOT.
I used to like the show, but Kate's overall behavior and a series of really tedious episodes are helping me drift away slowly.

I don't like Kate's hair, either. She is pretty, but her hair is not doing her any favors. The footage of her when she was younger with long hair was so GORGEOUS. She should really grow it out again.

On that one only the first Discovery Channel hour is there, not the second.
Everyone digs at Kate, but I don't really have a huge problem. It's just one of those the mother wears the pants in the household kind of relationships. It's very clear they love each other.

Kate was ripping into Jon again in front of the camera about how he always interrupts her. He just can't get a break! She could have said it nicer to him- that's all I'm saying.

The more I see of this show, the less I can tolerate Kate's behavior toward her husband. Sure, she doesn't smack her kids around, but she tortures them in other ways...specifically when she sets them up for frustrating experiences because god forbid they get "dirty". Have Mady and Cara been fostered out to another show or something, by the way?
And when the hell are we going to see that "very special episode" alluded to in earlier posts? You know, Jon minus nine? I can't wait...

I used to love this show, but lately I'm also growing tired of the way Kate treats Jon. If you do some searching, you will find she's not a very well liked person & there are a lot of former fans of the show that have done a turnabout & now wish the show be taken off the air. I'll admit that I do love watching the kids, even though I disagree with some of ways in which the kids have been shown & know that it's probably better for all if the show would just end. I think maybe a yearly update show would be a good way to go, rather than the weekly show, now that the tups are getting older. Check out this blog: http://www.gosselinswithoutpity.blogspot.com/
