Jon and Kate Plus 8 — Page 3

Not all the famlies on that "kids by the dozen" show are quite as "out there" as the Fiddler family. There was one family that was sending their oldest son off to college. The kids all attended public school, and looked like they were assimilated into society!

With Jon and Kate....I remember in the original show they did say that they were prepared for a second set of twins, but just shocked by the idea of 6! (And who wouldn't be!) I'm just amazed how much they do by themselves. Their families are not nearby to help out, and they have a few friends who come over, but I think there are many times they're all by themselves. And they've figured out what they need to do to raise 8 kids. Some people might say that the oldest two are given too many "grown up" responsibilities but in my mind, they're just being part of a family and doing what they need to do to make their family work.

I do think Kate likes everyone to know who wears the pants in that family.

I enjoy when Kate and Jon have time alone together. You can see that, despite everything, they still have a special connection.

I adore this family, they are all adorable. Kate and Jon are good together, yes she can be overbearing at times (ok most of the time) but they always work it out and they do love each other. My "favorite" is Hannah but I love all the kids.

They'll have to work on a catchy rhyming title! Brangelina has nothing on the Gosselins!

Kate seems less overbearing in this episode; she is organized but not so controlling. And because of that, I think the kids behaviors are much better.

I love watching this show. I've got four weeks left of school before I become a daycare teacher, so it's interesting watching their family, because they are pretty much a ratio for a daycare room. I loved it last night when one of the boys thought the pond was a swimming pool.

Did anyone just watch the last episode, I think it was a repeat?

I have to say I gain more respect for these parents with each episode. Maddy is quite a handful..

Those kids are just so cute.

That bounce house place was really cute! And I loved Jon and Kate imitating Joel's whine!

Am I the only horrible human being who thinks Joel might be a little light in the loafers when he grows up?

That place that Jon took Joel was really cute, too! He was adorable when he was giving the farmers the corn, lol.
