If this picnic goes well and stays a low maintenance event to plan, then there could conceivably be more during the summer. The cost is minimal, and no one has to do much other than designate a time and place. My kind of day in the park.

I will be gone from the end of june until the first week of august. I'm so excited.

Jwei, you couldn't be any worse than any of my students who peel out of here at 2:55pm everyday and race up 355 to get to "sleven" by 3:00. You need to watch out for THEM. They're cute, but lethal.

but, ah, yes, I definitely know about the sleven escapades. They're pretty much everywhere! I was near Einstein HS today off of Viers Mill, and the students (regardless of the fact that it was a Sunday...) were congregating by sleven. SUCH a phenomenon...

Anyone who comes should bring something to eat/drink, and plan for some sharing.

All are welcome.

Anyone under 16 should be there with at least one parent.

Police will be standing by to arrest those of you engaged in illegal activities.

I would suggest everyone attending PM Jose & tell him how many are going

After that & we than have a head count, we could than PM each other to see who brings what. After a decent period, we will post reults of those attending & what they are bringing & see what is missing. We have to know how many are coming to see how much of what to bring. I assume there are places there to barbecue or must those be brought as well
