What type of dim sum is this? Cantonese or Shanghai? I find nothing can top the Cantonese dining in Vancouver, but I'm on the prowl for some orgasmic Shanghai dim sum.

Also, good Peking duck, anyone?

Nope. I said PALACE. The palace is the East Side Shun Lee.
But if she is going to theatre the West Side makes more sense.
Palace is smaller and the service is friendlier but for some reason the Crispy Shreeded Beef is better on the West Side.
It is great on a date. Very romantic.
It is one of my favorite places on earth.

The only negative thing is whenever I go, Woody Allen is there.
He has been there several times when I am there.
For me though, I love the food so much when I eat it, I make the same noises like in When Harry Met Sally. It is that good.
Actually it rates higher then sex.
A great place for Duck in Chinatown is the Peking Duck House and I think it is on Mott.
If you want to explore Chinatown you can pick up a free chinatown guide in Chinatown or in City Info Magazine. It lists many wonderful places there.
You can get City Info in the Marriott Marquis, The Four Seasons, The Mandarin Oriental most 4 and 5 diamond star hotels.
