ROFL, good one
oh, here's Katies new publicist
Wasn't an amount of five millions dollars mentioned (somewhere) as being the reason she is with him?
Five million isn't enough considering he's now ruined her personal life AND her career.

Yeah, um, has anyone else noticed that she's got to be at least a few months pregnant? When were they engaged (I'm seriously asking, because I know it was sometime this summer, but don't remember when)? Maybe an early warning pregnancy test was the reason for the ring coming out? Just a thought...
I suspect that pregnancy was the reason the ring came out (unlike him), 'you get pregnant, we announce the relationship, you get married, have the baby, here's the cheque'. In that order.

Tom wasn't gonna give up that p-hole no mater what, he got her pregnant because he wanted to catch the cow girl that no one has caught, i can't blame him, i hope it works out for them, i really do, as far as it ruining her career, she wanted kids bad so as long as she's happy who cares, maybe she did brick and get pregnant too fast, but like i said she was trying to get rid of poopyface guy aka Chris Klein, so she did what she had to do.
I have no idea what you just said.
I think this is the perfect place to debut this marvellous pic I found.

OH. MY. GOD.
This entire thread has me literally laughing out loud like a loon in front of my computer. You guys should all be making millions as comedy writers, 'cause you're all a hell of a lot funnier than anything I've seen on TV lately...
OK, that being said, it really does seem like she's been completely brainwashed. It's sad.
This thread has made my morning!! Popcultureboy you win the cookie today, that picture is just too too!!
Isn't it just to die for, Mom? I laughed for a good 10 minutes when I saw it.
My favorite, though, is how there are still some people on here who are talking about this as if it were a real relationship...and not a business transaction.
Gobsmacking, isn't it?
Ah...one of my favorite phrases, pop!
DON'T LEAVE ME!!!

*gasp*
Robbie-- do you mean this isn't a real-life romance? How dare you question their deep-as-the-ocean love for each other!
I, too, am shocked, SG. Their love is AT LEAST as deep as the puddles on my sidewalk and as true and sure as karl Rove's innocence.

robbiej: Just to clarify my eariler post, even if this relationship started as a business transaction - which has always been my thought - it seems that now Miss Holmes has succumbed to the massive Scientology full-court-press brainwashing machine. Being from LA, I have many friends who have had personal experiences with Scientology (and were smart enough to get out), and let me just say, the cult comparisons aren't far off. They discourage you from having anything to do with people who don't share their faith, they'll go so far as to tell you your own parents are "SP's" (Suppressive Personalities) and need to be cut out of your life, they claim to magically tell you what all your deepest psychological issues are after asking you a series of ridiculous questions while you're sitting in a room holding two soup cans (I kid you not, they're soup cans) connected by string... They're pretty out there, and it seems like Katie's getting totally sucked in.
RobbieJ, gobsmacking is good, but combine it with pussow and you have magic.
Erika,
I knew exactly what you were talking about in your post. No doubt about it (especially knowing your out in LA). But there are a couple of other folks who spoke about this as if it were 'true love' or 'obsessive love' or what have you...and not some sort of publicity front for whatever it is (I'm not about to imply any or either of the mentioned party likes the same-sex sex!)
Off-topic, congrats on your film! And your posts about making a living as a musical theatre actress out there are planting the seed for a possible move some day in the near future.

robbiej: Gotcha! I just wanted to make sure I was clear. :-P And thanks so much for the congrats! And regarding a possible move, I'll tell you one thing, it's a lot warmer here.

Hi Erika, I hear you. I grew up in L.A. down the street from an L.Ron Hubbard bookshop. It's like he took a bet, "Let's see what kind of crazy religion I can make up."

That's about what I would expect from her...
Pop...that is wonderful.
It makes me want to hug the bunny and eat at the same time (but NOT eat the bunny!)
