Don't you realize that the rest of the world isn't peering through your narrow little lens?

What is it about gay marriage that scares the Righties? What is it about allowing gays in the military that makes macho, republicans shake in their boots? What is it about ending discrimination in the workplace that makes "you people" so upset?
Are you afraid of sharing the special rights that you have for being straight? That's what they are...special rights reserved for straight men and women. (I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on being straight, I think that might still be up for debate.) But, please explain to me why straight people and republicans in particular are so threatened by equality for others.

1) The word is "im-por-tant" not "im-por-dent."
2) Yellow rubber bracelets = OVER.
Yes, we are all (except one person on this board) pulling for your wife, too. That bracelet has no magical powers.

I had some good ones going at Bellini's expense last night.*
*Please note that I fully support Bellini's embrace of carbs. It actually makes me find slightly more attractive. And then...he opened his mouth.

You know, that tired lens is VERY, VERY narrow.

Not that you would know that, because you don't know anything. But still, I thought I'd tell you so you can be an informed liar, rather than just a garden variety liar.

You're right, it is about special rights, special rights for straight men and women that are denied to gay men and women. How can you defend those special rights? Aren't all of us created equally? Or are straight men and women more equal?

It still wins elections. In Ohio, 78% voted against gay marriage.
