How sad.
Don't you realize that the rest of the world isn't peering through your narrow little lens?

ANYWAY, as I was going to say before we were rudely interrupted, here's a quick recap:
OBAMA: Told us to take it one step at a time.
EDWARDS: Looked uncomfortable.
KUCINICH: Likes love.
GRAVEL: Really likes love.
RICHARDSON: Thinks being gay is a choice, said maricon at least once.
CLINTON: My live feed really sucked at that point.
ETHERIDGE: Afraid of bark beetles.
BELLINI: Likes carbs.
MAPA: Show's saving grace.
LIMBAUGH: Buys drugs from Caribbean islands.
MALKIN: Has a big ping pong ball collection.
EEYORE: Is grumpy, loses his tail often.
Did I miss anything?

What's even more sad HD, is that you seem willing and perfectly happy to deny a group of people the same rights that you enjoy. Although I find it doubtful that you'll ever actually find someone who'd marry you, if by chance that does happen, at least you'll be able to. I can only hope that you're sterile.
What is it about gay marriage that scares the Righties? What is it about allowing gays in the military that makes macho, republicans shake in their boots? What is it about ending discrimination in the workplace that makes "you people" so upset?
Are you afraid of sharing the special rights that you have for being straight? That's what they are...special rights reserved for straight men and women. (I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on being straight, I think that might still be up for debate.) But, please explain to me why straight people and republicans in particular are so threatened by equality for others.

Darlings, the rodent has derailed enough threads for today. Just set out the D-Con and forget about it.

"MALKIN: Has a big ping pong ball collection."
love, love, love
and I agree...like Heather Langenkamp, we can diffuse Freddy Krueger's power by ignoring him.

Posted: 8/10/07 at 10:00amCalvin-you got that right about Edwards. Whenever he addressed a topic his eyes were blinking a mile a minute-one of the signs of lying.
re: Last Night's Presidential Forum#10
Posted: 8/10/07 at 10:09am
Could somebody tell Edwards two important things:
1) The word is "im-por-tant" not "im-por-dent."
2) Yellow rubber bracelets = OVER.
Yes, we are all (except one person on this board) pulling for your wife, too. That bracelet has no magical powers.

Right now I'm leaning towards Eeyore. I identify with his mood after seeing the candidates.

I have nothing against Big Mama E, and I have said so many times on this board. I wish her well.
the funny thing is, she's like a Republican secret weapon.

I liked the little guy's love hug at the end.
It made me feel impordent.

Please tell me it was the ping pong crack that got last night's thread deleted and not...um...something else.
I had some good ones going at Bellini's expense last night.*
*Please note that I fully support Bellini's embrace of carbs. It actually makes me find slightly more attractive. And then...he opened his mouth.

BTW, its not about equal rights, its about special rights.
You know, that tired lens is VERY, VERY narrow.

I know you're a child, but the "special rights" argument is from 1978. Anita Bryant. Talk about tired. It's comatose.
Not that you would know that, because you don't know anything. But still, I thought I'd tell you so you can be an informed liar, rather than just a garden variety liar.

"BTW, its not about equal rights, its about special rights. "
You're right, it is about special rights, special rights for straight men and women that are denied to gay men and women. How can you defend those special rights? Aren't all of us created equally? Or are straight men and women more equal?
HD slept with the X president of the young Rebublicans & didn't get sucked#21

re: Last Night's Presidential Forum#22
Posted: 8/10/07 at 10:27amIt wasn't Bellini's voice...but the fact that he basically turned into Albert Brooks in BROADCAST NEWS right in front of my eyes. Etai Han held it together. And where was the sassy black chick who does Logo News as well???

It still wins elections. In Ohio, 78% voted against gay marriage.
