My only complaint is that they didn't deal enough with Miles' theory, which I think might be right. What if the detonation of the bomb was "the incident"?
I can't believe I have to wait 9 months to see how this plays out.
Question...was the scene where Jack wakes up at the Swan Station supposed to mirror the pilot? Because it sure seemed like it did.

When did Jack wake up at the Swan Station?
I think Miles was right also -- the reason for that is Chang's arm. This was how it was lost (no pun intended), so what happened here ALWAYS happened. The wild-card, though, may be Juliet...maybe Ben killing Jacob freed him to help Juliet change history.
So many possibilities...
Maybe not wake up, but I meant after he got bonked in the head with the toolbox. He was walking and looking around, and the way the scene was filmed reminded me a lot of the pilot. I'll have to watch it again, though.
Your right it is Jacob that takes the birthright away which makes Esau want to kill him...also found this
Rebecca (Jacob and Esau's mother) was extremely uncomfortable during her double pregnancy and went to inquire of God why she was suffering so. The Midrash says that whenever she would pass a house of Torah study, Jacob would struggle to come out; whenever she would pass a house of idolatry, Esau would agitate to come out.She received the prophecy that twins were fighting in her womb and would continue to fight all their lives, and after they became two separate nations. The prophecy also said that the older would serve the younger; its statement "one people will be stronger than the other" has been taken to mean that the two nations would never gain power simultaneously: when one fell, the other would rise, and vice versa.
My whole thing with Chang's hand is that it didn't come completely off...Miles was there to help him free his hand...so maybe he didn't lose it???
And also, Benjamin was the youngest son of Jacob.

So yeah, a few things (more than just me not liking the episode).
Rose and Bernard are clearly the Adam & Eve from the cave.
Terry O'Quinn will still be on the show but Locke is gone.
Jack, despite being the most annoying character on the show, is not going anywhere.
Juliet clearly has bones made of steel since she survived an electromagnetic fall down what seemed to be an almost never ending pit into the swan.
A biblical themed/influenced war is coming
This season was substantially lame and the writing was subpar.
