1. Who cares?
2. He didn't get dismissed because Davis was GAY, he got dismissed because he punched SOMEONE in the face.
Not everything is about being gay.

1. Who cares?
-You do, because you responded, if you don't care, feel free to not respond =)
2. He didn't get dismissed because Davis was GAY, he got dismissed because he punched SOMEONE in the face.
-I never said he got dismissed because Davis is gay. I said he got dismissed for hitting a gay male, which is accurate, if he had gotten dismissed for hitting a str8 male, I would have posted that too. But I feel like sometimes it's easier to aim for the gay guy. Although, just like you do, CT denied he picked on him. But I think unconsciously he aimed for a weaker competitor.

No, as an ardent fan of these trashy MTV Real World/Road Rules Gauntlet, Infernos and such I don't see what the big deal would be of this.
CT has pulled things like this ALL the time. Or Abram who twice was booted and yet still brought back. He was a known homophobe on his season who threw racial attacks at one of his black teammates and assaulted him. Even on the last Road Rules he got booted attacking another male contestant and inadvertently hurt one of his gay teammates who intervened to break it up, unintentionally of course.
Fights like that happen all the time and are not limited to sexes, religions, sexual orientation, race, etc. I agree that I just don't think it matters much that he hit a male who happened to be the target this time and also happened to be gay.

Uh-huh.

"I never said he got dismissed because Davis is gay...But I think he unconsiously aimed for a weaker competitor."
Having not seen any of this season, is Davis physically weaker than the other players. Or is this more subtle homophobia, because gay equals weak?
Seriously, just a question, not a slam, unless of course you meant gay equals weak. Then it's a slam.

Davis isn't weak.
The guy's got a lot of muscle.
I doubt he'd be seen as the weaker competitor. In fact, I usually notice gay men on this show work twice as hard to prove that they're equal.

not sure why the point was he was dismissed for hitting a gay male. The point should have been he was dismissed for hitting a person, period

Posted: 4/16/07 at 11:34amI caught a couple minutes of this show while on my endless channel sweep for more Law & Order reruns. Some of these people have to be in their 40's by now-- still sitting around waiting for MTV to call and offer them a few weeks on TV. I wish they'd do a Reality Show following all these Reality stars in theri "real Life." What the hell does Coral or "The Miz" do in between these gigs?

Posted: 4/16/07 at 11:39amI agree that the people who go on these shows are totally pathetic. In the beginning, I loved Real World and Road Rules. I thought they were really interesting and fun. But the shine wore off long ago and these shows are dull, dull, dull. Everyone knows what to expect from them now and the people who go on know exactly what roles they are supposed to fill and how to act in said role. It's pointless.

Posted: 4/16/07 at 11:41amOk, I admit it, I watch it for the hot guys. And saying that they are old to be on the show is age-discrimination if you ask me.
#22mtv's inferno
Posted: 4/16/07 at 12:03pmmuscle, you do realize MTV has rules on pretty much every one of its shows that contestants must be 25 or younger, right? The old has-beens are grandfathered in, of course.

I don't know about age discrimination, I just don't how these people earn a living, considering most have to be in their 30s by now...aren't on year 15 or 17 know?
It's a shame CT is a jackass. Because his body is amazing.
