I know where Jeb's thumb is.
i knew i shoulda adopted him when i had the chance and schooled him in the ways of darkness!
first official question: why does gillian anderson look so pissed off in your avatar and what happened to penny crone (the avatar, not the reporter) ?
Congrats, Erik. Timing is everything and wouldn't you know the BF And I JUST finished watching "Grey Gardens." God, what a tragic figure little Edie cuts. It's no wonder they turned it into a musical.
Gillian looks pissed because she never really took off after The X-Files. That's not Gillian silly....it's Edith Bouvier Beale...a stuanch woman indeed.
Penny needed some time off. You remember my avatars better than I do. One day she may return...
odd. i always pegged penny as an electric razor kind of gal.
It would be great if we can move this conversation back to the topic... thanks :)

Congrats erik - have a great day!
I'll ask you my regular questions (question #1 slightly revised for the non-Starbucks drinkers)...
What's your Starbucks order? If you are not a regular Starbucks drinker, I offer the following alternative - if Starbucks were the only place to get a beverage, what would you order?
What's your favorite ice cream?
Enjoy your day!
Hmm...I'm not sure how to spell my favorite Starbuck's order but I'll do my best...a medium Caramel Macchiato. I refuse to say tall because I think it's silly. But I'm actually more of a Dunkin' Doughnuts type of guy.
My favorite ice cream is chocolate.
All right, Erik -- I'll give you a volleyball question.
When you were in any level of school, did they ever make you play Anything Goes Volleyball? It was like regular volleyball, except the ball could bounce twice, you could hit the ball twice in a row and it could stay on your side for as many hits as necessary. If not, what was the goofiest gym game you remember having to play?
No never played that. Although it would make things so much easier.
I can't remember the goofiest gym game I had to play...but I remember we used to play some game that was like volleyball but you had to catch the ball when it came over the net and if you dropped you had to sit down. I used to drop it on purpose because I was lazy.
erik, since you greatly influenced my love of the theatre, my question is what attracted you to the theatre, what was your first show, and what keeps you going back?
Erik--which of the performers on the line-up for the opening ceremonies of the Gay Games would you MOST like to have some quality time with: Andy Bell, Cyndi Lauper, Margaret Cho, Megan Mullally, Jody Watley, Greg Louganis, Heather Small, Kristine W, George Takei, Holly Near or the cast of Avenue Q?
Congratulations Erik.
If you were any building in the world, what building would you be and why?
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them?
If you had to move to another City, anywhere in the World, but you could never leave that city again - not even to visit other cities - and you could take someone with you, where would you go and who would you take? (others CAN come visit you, though)
Congrats, Erik.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on who you'd like to see with the Democratic nomination for President.
Robb...
Well I'm glad to know I influenced your love of theater..at least I've done something positive in my life
I'm not sure what attracted me to theater, I've always looked forward to that sense of anticipation when the lights go down. My first show was actually Sweeney Todd, so I started off good. I guess I keep going back to get that feeling when the house lights go down. Even in bad shows I usually find something I like.
PJ..
It depends on what you mean by quality time. But I'm most looking forward to seeing Cyndi Lauper. I think she's a great performer and I wouldn't mind going out and getting a few cocktails with her.
I'll have to answer the other questions after lunch...I'm so hungry I could eat some KFC!
If...
At this point I'd like to see Gore have another go at it. But I'm sure that will change by the time elections get closer.
just curious, do you play well with others?
Yes, depending on who the others are.
So it's true. They'll let ANYBODY be CotD around here now.
Seriously though, you know how much I adore you, Mister J972 .
poppy lives!
Erik:
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
If I were recuperating in a hospital I would want my dear friend Kim there. She's known me forever and is probably one of the only people who could tolerate my whining.
My work has given me the most pleasure in the last year.
I really don't know what people would be surprised to learn about me, not many know I have a black belt in karate. Kinda hot huh?
If my house was on fire I would grab my two english bulldogs...Sophia and Winnie. Those bitches are heavy but I might try to grab my photo albums too.
If someone important to me described me they would say I was the most amazing person they ever met..and they would be spot on. Honestly though...I would hope they said I'm a good friend who just does my best to be a good person.
I've always thought that I wanted to go sky diving, but I think I would chicken out if I ever tried it.
The last great gift I got someone was to fly them home to see family they hadn't seen in over 5 years. The greatest gift I was given was a journal with an inscription from a student I worked with at school.
Let the noms begin!
