Just, I would LOVE a star! I don't have one, but everyone should, don't you think?

Newt? Wow - what restaurant do you go to?
Not boring at all! Wonderful, in fact. I'm enjoying every word!
Bluemoon, I am laughing out loud.
We are not bored, we are just loving sitting back and seeing your answers.

Oh my, this looks like an all female thread tonight - what fun!
EDIT: sorry, Smart, didn't see you in the corner there.

I am going straight down the list of questions. One-by-one.
Don't worry Tiff...you're next!
Am I truly "pennywise"? Well, I think that depends on your definition. I believe I am because I donate a lot of my money to efforts that help people more in need than I. But there are many people who view that as foolish. But I don;t care because being generous is more important to me than being rich.
BTW, you do know that my Board moniker is taken from a character in Urinetown, right? Penelope Pennywise or Miss Pennywise. I guess that makes the father of my children Caldwell B. Cladwell. I'll tell him that. He'll be happy. (Don't be the bunny!)
I can be womanly if I need to be.

You're wonderful just the way you are.
Sorry for the threadjack. penny.
She must be typing away.

Thank God. I thought I killed the thread.
I am never stingy. Honestly. (Ewww. Even typing the word "stingy" makes me cringe.)
Dirt about Jane2. Okay, here's something: she is really sweet and kind and generous and friendly and so many other great things but on the board she claims not to be. Okay?
An international issue I feel passionately about. It's really hard to pick one. As SOMMS knows, I worked for the World Game Institute, started by Buckminster Fuller, so I am all about global issues and resolving world problems.
Like Jane, I am extremely concerned about the division, hatred and bigotry religious differences have perpetuated. It is troubling to me that something like religion--which is supposed to bring people "closer to god"--so consistently and violently does the opposite. As I mentioned in another thread, I was very inspired by the very simple statement of the Dalai Lama: "My religion is kindness."
An event or experience that changed my outlook or opinion. Very tough question. I suppose having a child with cerebral palsy has had the greatest impact on my life. I notice all the time that even when I tell people about her, they pretty much change the topic as soon as possible. She walks with braces on her legs, and people either stare or look away.
Now, when I see someone who is disabled, I make a point of looking them right in the face and saying, "Hello!" I want to acknowledge and honor their existence because too often they are ignored or shunned.
Anyway, my daughter--who is the most wonderful gift I have been given--is my inspiration. She never lets anything discourage her and she is a beam of joy.
My riff with Kringas was over the fact that he said Julia Murney was "the belter's belter" and I said HE was. But now he's okay with it.
My answers are too long. That's why nobody is reading this thread.
I'm sorry.
You know the old adage, attributed to Pascal, I believe: "I'm sorry I wrote you a long letter. I didn't have time to write you a short one."

How pretty - and what a killer smile!
She's beautiful, Miss P.
Your answers are not too long. I thought mine were longer. don't change them.
Thanks, Moonie and Addy. She is so special to me.
Congratulations Miss Pennywise! In honor of your special day you can have George tonight, but I want him back when you're done!
I always enjoy reading your posts and your answers to the questions have been wonderful. They're in no way too long.

My sister thought it was cool that your son has my birthday and you daughter's is a day before hers.
Hi, Aigoo!!!
I would like to read and speak Japanese.
Justy, my favorite poets are Keats, Apollinaire, Sexton, Nazim Kikmet, cummings, Elliot, Prevert, Tennyson, Mallarme, and Wakoski...oh, I could go on.
Movie of my life????
I have to think about that and answer LATER when I'm home and comfortable. I have to leave my office now! I'll be back. (Although, janey, you made ME answer that question for you last night!!! Maybe you should return the favor!)
Shamey, where are those questions????
Have I missed any?

Penny - your answers are just what they need to be - and every word is being read, I can assure you, by many people.
Your answers are a joy to read because, as I pointed out with YWIW, they are straight-forward, real and obviously from your heart.
Your daughter is beautiful - as are the lessons that you have taken into your heart.
Thanks, DG. You are really so sweet. I can't wait to meet you.
I am going to drive home now and call Jane2 on the way to finally say "thank you" in real time!!!!
See you all in a few.
Xooo
Penny
Miss P, don't you know them all by now?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last "great" gift that you gave someone? That you were given?
Tell us something that you think we’d be surprised to know about you?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
If you could be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be, and what would you do?
Miss P - the movie question was my only one to you so far! Pleeeeeeeese answer it-inquiring minds want to know!
