At the risk of sounding desperate, I'm going to bump this thread. I only have less than 12 hours and I would appreciate your support. You can ask me anything you want. Anything at all. A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G! :)

Who would you rather be, John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King Jr.?

... Anything but that! *reconsiders* Oh, all right. I'll do it!

(BTW: Those were RENT & 42ND STREET references.)

I think I'll answer Geek's two questions first.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE MOST ANNOYING THING ABOUT ME?
Actually, I don't find much to complain about you, Geek. I know it's an anticlimactic answer, but I really can't think right now. It's almost 5 and I didn't get my beauty sleep last night. Just tossed and turned, tossed and turned. I'm sick of being on my back, so I got out of bed and decided to get on the computer.

WHOM WOULD YOU RATHER BE: JOHN F. KENNEDY OR MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR?
I've never given it much thought. Kennedy had the glamor, but King got the glory. *ponders* I guess in the end I would rather be remembered for fighting against discrimination and making a social change than to ride on the coattails of others and be remembered, not for what I accomplished, but for what might have been. So, my answer is Martin Luther King, Jr.

And now onto brdlwyr's question.

WHAT IS ONE OF THE PROTECTIONS OF THE FIFTH AMENDMENT OF THE u.s. CONSTITUTION?
Gee, brdlwyr, I wonder why you asked that! To tell you the truth, I really don't know. However, I'm going to take a stab at it and say... *thinks REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hard about this one*... you can refuse to testify in your own defense? Am I right? Did I win something?

Well, good thing we got that out of the way. I'll be back tomorrow morning at 9 sharp! (Unless there are further questions, of course... *he hopes*)

Congrats StageManager2! I'm fashionably late again. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part IV) - StageManager2

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?

What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?

What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?

If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?

If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?

What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?

What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Well, it's 9:31 and I'm a half hour later than I thought I would be. But I'll try to answer shameless' (many) questions in that short frame of time.

IF YOU WERE RECUPERATING IN A HOSPITAL, WHO WOULD YOU WANT IN THE BED NEXT TO YOU, EXCLUDING RELATIVES?
I've never thought about that one, either. Let's see... I can't think of anyone specific, but I would like the patient next to me to be conversational. I enjoy talking with new people and learning about their lives.

WHAT HAS GIVEN YOU THE MOST PLEASURE IN THE LAST YEAR?
I would say reading. It has provided an escape for me when I really needed to be elsewhere and not here, if that makes any sense.

WHAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT YOU? Many people are surprised to learn that I spent two years in an orphanage before being adopted.

IF YOUR HOUSE WAS ON FIRE, WHAT WOULD YOU GRAB ON THE WAY OUT? I'm not much of a keepsake person ( I prefer memories because they last), so I probably wouldn't go after an inanimate object. That pretty much cancels everything in my apartment. If I had a pet I would most definitely fight the flames to save it. Does that answer your question, more or less?

(Oh God, it's now 9:44.)

IF YOU ASKED AN IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE TO DESCRIBE YOU, WHAT WOULD HE OR SHE SAY? HOW ACCURATE WOULD THEY BE?
I think anyone who knows me will be pretty accurate because I'm not the type of person to keep secrets or tell lies; therefore, they would know me perfectly. I guess they would say that I'm diplomatic, generous, compassionate, laid-back, goofy, and that I possess a dry and salacious sense of humor.

WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER DONE BUT ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY?
Like I mentioned earlier, I've always wanted to fly so sky-diving would be something I really want to do.

WHAT'S THE LAST GREAT GIFT THAT YOU GAVE SOMEONE? AND THAT YOU WERE GIVEN?
Well, since I'm pressed for time I really can't think of every gift that I've given or that's been given to me. But earlier this month I bought my younger sister a new cell phone (she's never had one) and I have agreed to pay the bill for one year. She really appreciated that. Now, the last great gift someone's ever given me is a trip to Disneyland. Erika Amato gave me my chance of a lifetime for free. I had always wanted to go as a child, but never got the opportunity. Then Erika gave me an offer that I couldn't refuse and I am very VERY grateful to her for that. I had a blast last month and I really needed it. Thanks again, Erika!

Well, that is all folks! Now I must go pick a new Celebrity of the Day!

Okay, I'm back. For the next Celebrity of the Day I choose... *drumroll* ... iHeartMyGeek! She and I have recently become friendly and I have discovered what a wonderful, genial, considerate person she is. Not only that, but her "Break-up" threads (Parts 1 & 2) provided me with some great entertainment and even inspired my favorite line : "I stumbled to the floor, dead... with a grape lodged in my throat." I haven't laughed so hard in ages! Anyway, Geek, I pass the baton to you. I really can't think of anything to ask at this moment, but I'll be back.

Yay for me!

By the way...my username is iHeartMyGeek...not Greek. but it's cool.

My first questions. W00t!

Favorite designer on Project Runway and why?

Michael is my favorite. He's a really genuine, down-to-earth guy and his designs are impeccable. He's got great taste and he seems to be really passionate.

What is your favorite board game?

wow, that's hard. I'd have to say Trivial Pursuit. I like showing off the fact that I know alot of useless information.

If you had one wish, what would it be and why?

Okay, totally cliche. I would wish that i'd be able to see perfectly from both eyes. It's been a great hindrance to me my entire life, socially especially, not being able to see. So...I think that's what I'd wish.

What's your favorite feature of your body?

Hmmm...that's actually hard. not becuase I hate all of my body--actualy more because I like most of my body equally to the rest. I'd have to say either my hair or my legs. I also like my hips and stomach, but not as much, probably.

What is your favorite feature of your personality?

Definitely my maturity and intelligence. Even if I can't boast popularity, at least I can say I am secure in the fact hat I feel confident in myself and my intelligence.

What is your favorite feature of your life?

Not much, right now, haha. i'd have to say that right now my dad and I are getting closer and having a lot of fun together, and I'm really thankful for that. But there's not a lot to be happy about at the moment. Maybe things will clear up in the future.

Maybe if you dated a Greek, you'd have been better off. They're generally hot. Swarthy, but hot.

What's your favorite chain restaurant?
Ponytail or Styled?
Coffee or Tea?
Boxers or Briefs?

What's your favorite chain restaurant?

I'd have to say Red Lobster. Come one! whod eson't love Red Lboster. Or P.F. Changs. Is that a chain restaurant? I'm not sure.

Ponytailed or styled?

Puhleez, I can barely make a good ponytail let alone actually style my hair. Definitely ponytailed.

Coffee or Tea?

Depends on the time. Usually, coffee. I could drink coffee forever. But sometimes it's just comforting to have a nice hot cup of tea.

Boxers or Briefs?

Are we talking girly boxers? Haha, either way, I'd have to say briefs. Especially leopard-print onesre: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part IV) - iHeartMyGeek

What's your Starbucks order?

Grande white chocolate mocha with whipped cream. Yes, I'm girly.
But don't get me wrong--I can drink a grande-sized cup of black coffee in seven minutes. I've done it before. I just prefer, for my stomach's sake, to go for the more diluted drinks.

What's your favorite ice cream?

Anything Ben and Jerry's. My favorite of their is their Oatmeal Cookie Chunk. So good.

Who do you find to be the cutest redhead on the planet?

Most memorable birthday?

My tenth. But not in a good way. I had a great party the day before my actual birthday, and then the day of I was struck with some sort of mega-cold and had to sleep for most of the day. I could barely taste the lasagna my mother always makes me for my birthday.

Cutest redhead on the planet?

Jaily, you're a redhead, right? I'd say you, if I knew you. But definitely conan O'brien if we're talking famous.

Worf, Data, or Jean-Luc Picard?

Data. That's all.

If you could change on thing in your past, what would it be?

probably my dad getting married. If he didin't get married, he wouldn't have had to move to this house that I hate. And he wouldn't have gotten divorced and depressed and everything.
