Mom- that is so true, it has been really excellent to see and read so much about each celeb of the day.
Plum- My cats are GREAT singers, in the Shosh tradition.
Ok here is my answer to Boobs, it is not as strong as I would have liked, but I gave it a chance. Then I am off to try to do this homework and then class, I will be here all evening for a marathon session if anyone wants, you know I don't sleep often.
Boobs: If you could interview one person (dead or alive)....who would it be and what questions would you ask them?
There are so many people I would like to have the chance to interview, in so many fields and historical situations this question was nearly too much.
I decided finally that since it is a fantasy interview (now if it was a fantasy fantasy I would have a whole different list) to go with the most difficult. There is always the chance I could interview anyone alive today, of my 5 people I mentioned earlier, I had the chance to meet all 5 of them. The opportunity to discuss things with them and the others I adore (Dylan, Sondheim, etc.) would be harder, but still possible.
So I must go to the ranks of the non-living, an even greater list, I will presume there is no language barrier either.
In the end, I am a seminarian, and the one historical figure who is most cited here is the one about whom the least can really be known. I would sit with Jesus of Nazareth, and Siddhartha Galtama (because I can’t deal with one without the other) and ask what they were actually trying to say. How did we get it all so wrong? What is up with this “Son of Man/God business? This crap done in your names, how would you stop it? How are you liking Nirvanna?
And- Was Mary Magdalene as hot as she is in my mind?

look it's banker bob!
Pengers, what is the one goal that drives you to accomplish it above all others?
And, If I were to sit in a room with your real life friends and asked them to describe you (not physically, but who you are) to me honestly, what would they say?
"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas

Penguin, dear, congratulations!
In the 1980s there was an Off-Broadway musical called Birds of Paradise. There was a song from the show entitled 'Penguins Must Sing.'
Does our smartpenguin sing? If so, what do you like to sing and where?

Congratulations! May I say that while I haven't shared many discussions with you in the past, I am quite certain that anyone who includes "His Jbarraness" among his fan photos is truly one SMART PENGUIN!
I noticed you made reference to "your cats" so my totally Babwa Wawa question is - IF you could be a cat, would you and if you would, what kind of a cat would you be and why?
A click for life.

SmartP,
Congratulations! One of the things I love about this thread is that you get to learn how much you have in common with people. "Connecting" is very important in life.
So, some of the passions we share make me want to ask you more about them:
Keats: Which of his works are your favorites?
Sondheim: Which show of his was playing on Broadway the year you were born? (This is going to make me ill, I just know it.)
Buddhism: Which of the many important lessons that we learn from Buddhism is most meaningful to you and why?
Which translation of the Teachings of Buddha most appeals to you?
Buddhist Writers: Have you read any of the works of Thich Nhat Hanh? If so, which is (or are) most inspirational to you? (If you don't care for him or haven't read him, who is your favorite Buddhist writer?)
Meditation: What is your daily meditation ritual?
And finally...
Penguins: Why are they always in formal attire?
Thanks!!!
Miss Pennywise

I hope penguin gets to answer miss pennywise's questions - I was just about to ask some of those, myself.
Is the celebrity still in class? Busy with work? Nobody volunteered to do his work for him, just for the day?
