Mitt Romney is a MORON

Mitt Romney will be elected president in November. He will be inaugurated in January, 2013, and go on to serve 8 years. Romney understands economics and will get America out of debt. He will clean up the mess left by Bush and Obama and restore American greatness. Mitt Romney will build on the legacy of Ronald Reagan.

Mitt Romney is forging ahead of Obama in the polls. The debates tipped the scales. Romney should win by a substantial margin on November 6.

The last good president was Ronald Reagan, and the one before him was Dwight Eisenhower. I believe Mitt Romney will follow their lead. These are perilous times for sure with more and more countries getting nuclear weapons. We need a president who can relate to both parties. Mitt Romney proved he can do that as governor of Massachusetts. As for the war in Iraq, I blame Colin Powell as much as Bush. Powell is the one who went to the U.N. and gave a speech about how Iraq had the infamous "Weapons of Mass Destruction."

Mr Roxy, since Presidents can only serve two terms, there's no way anyone will be able to vote for him again, much less "zombies".

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Mitt Romney is more capable of creating jobs than Obama. Romney has been in the private sector and has actually hired people. Obama has hired no one. After 4 years, unemployment remains high.

Actually, I don't think Romney is a moron, and I think he might have made a decent president if he hadn't completely sold out to the far right of the GOP. Now, I don't think he's recognizable anymore, and he's tried to be on so many sides of every issue that he can't keep his stories straight.

Note: I think the same could be said of John McCain.

i agree with madbrian. romney would be much more palatable if he hadn't spent so much time kowtowing to the religious nutjobs who rather openly dislike him because they regard mormonism as a terrible heresy.

If Mitt Romney wins, I may lose all faith in the democratic system. I guess George W. should have finished me off, but I thought lessons had been learned. As someone clever once said, "The best argument against democracy is to have a five-minute conversation with the average voter..."

As others have said, unemployment is on a steady decline.Period.
Romney flip flops ALL THE TIME. How are we to trust a guy who can't keep his policies straight?
He has outsourced jobs.
Many prominent GOP members can't even follow him.
His ethics are shady as hell.

it's laughable when republicans state that there is no racism in their party. the evangelicals can barely hide their disgust for romney. they just happen to hate obama more. that squalid little bigot, billy graham, only NOW removed mormonism as a cult. if liberals simply raised this automatic shield that religion gets, they can be called out on it. do jim colyer, mikey, and abby really believe there was a battle of comura in north america, where the fair skinned, handsome nephites defeated the dark skinned lamanites? will they affirm that joseph smith was told to read, three times, by the angel moroni, and wrote the book of mormon from three gold plates given to him by elohim, the mormon god? OF COURSE THEY DON'T. OF COURSE THEY DON'T THINK THAT'S TRUE, NO ONE DOES.

I also note people contradicting that statement, and correcting misstatements made by those they generally politically agree with. So, yeah, this is not like a thread where the echo-chamber just ratifies the prior statements.

For the record, Romney is not a moron, and we should not be calling him such. He is a good business man, a bully, a man who while in HS publically humiliated those who do not fit his ideal of normal, and got his kicks in college impersonating a police office and pulling people over.

He has made a lot of money by taking advantage of the system, and at the same time using our bankruptcy code to privatize profits while socializing losses. To my knowledge he broke no laws (though one never knows whether he took advantage of a safe harbor on some of his foreign investments), and has continue to game the system as best as legally possible - and there is nothing wrong with that - except that his tax plan then continues to help game the system in his favor.

In my personal opinion ONLY, he is symbolic of what is wrong with our current economic system. He is accountable for nothing, but takes advantage of everything.

But, he is not a moron. He is calculating but without any firm beliefs other than winning at all costs. He is rudderless without any core conviction other than again, winning. He will do or say anything to anyone to get elected.

Truth is, those on the right should be afraid of Romney if he wins - you have no idea who or what he will be if he is President. He is on both sides of just about every issue. Just like his advisor admitted, he is the etch-a-sketch candidate.
