Mitt Romney will not be the next U.S. president. He was a Republican governor of Massachusetts. He is also a moron. There have been too many morons in the White House, George W. Bush being the last one. Romney will not be elected, we don't want another moron as POTUS. That's why Barack will be with us another 4 years.

Mitt Romney will be elected president in November. He will be inaugurated in January, 2013, and go on to serve 8 years. Romney understands economics and will get America out of debt. He will clean up the mess left by Bush and Obama and restore American greatness. Mitt Romney will build on the legacy of Ronald Reagan.

Mitt Romney is forging ahead of Obama in the polls. The debates tipped the scales. Romney should win by a substantial margin on November 6.

The last good president was Ronald Reagan, and the one before him was Dwight Eisenhower. I believe Mitt Romney will follow their lead. These are perilous times for sure with more and more countries getting nuclear weapons. We need a president who can relate to both parties. Mitt Romney proved he can do that as governor of Massachusetts. As for the war in Iraq, I blame Colin Powell as much as Bush. Powell is the one who went to the U.N. and gave a speech about how Iraq had the infamous "Weapons of Mass Destruction."

The good thing if O gets in again is he will screw up the country so bad only mindless zombies would vote for him again. Look for both houses to be in GOP hands in 2014.

Imagine what the dens would do if Chris Brown were on GOP watch.If O gets in again the job options for college grads will be Mickey D's or Wendy's.

Mitt Romney is more capable of creating jobs than Obama. Romney has been in the private sector and has actually hired people. Obama has hired no one. After 4 years, unemployment remains high.

Actually, I don't think Romney is a moron, and I think he might have made a decent president if he hadn't completely sold out to the far right of the GOP. Now, I don't think he's recognizable anymore, and he's tried to be on so many sides of every issue that he can't keep his stories straight.

Note: I think the same could be said of John McCain.

Look, only now are *some* of them able to face the fact that W was a complete disaster and fewer still are actually able to say so out loud or in print. Which makes you wonder, where are our gold stars for knowing that from the beginning? For knowing the Iraq War on a credit card was a disaster???

Consider that Colin Powell's old chief of staff finally said out loud that his Republican party is full of racists. But then he went on to say that he respected Sununu as a member of the Republican party and blah, blah, blah.

How far out on a limb is it for them to just leave it at "they're racists" without feeling that these racists are due any respect? Makes no sense to me. As much as the conclusions he arrives at make me crazy, the Republicans need more George Wills who actually say things out loud like "Sarah Palin is an imbecile" and doesn't totally march in lockstep. Until then, they've got a presidential candidate who is still backing a would-be senator whose god plans rape babies.

Let's just be honest here. If Obama is reelected, there will be impeachment hearings regarding Libya and the four dead Americans. Obama has lied so much about that incident and he's in it deep. In fact, I think that will be the deciding factor for many voters to choose Romney.

I also note people contradicting that statement, and correcting misstatements made by those they generally politically agree with. So, yeah, this is not like a thread where the echo-chamber just ratifies the prior statements.

For the record, Romney is not a moron, and we should not be calling him such. He is a good business man, a bully, a man who while in HS publically humiliated those who do not fit his ideal of normal, and got his kicks in college impersonating a police office and pulling people over.

He has made a lot of money by taking advantage of the system, and at the same time using our bankruptcy code to privatize profits while socializing losses. To my knowledge he broke no laws (though one never knows whether he took advantage of a safe harbor on some of his foreign investments), and has continue to game the system as best as legally possible - and there is nothing wrong with that - except that his tax plan then continues to help game the system in his favor.

In my personal opinion ONLY, he is symbolic of what is wrong with our current economic system. He is accountable for nothing, but takes advantage of everything.

But, he is not a moron. He is calculating but without any firm beliefs other than winning at all costs. He is rudderless without any core conviction other than again, winning. He will do or say anything to anyone to get elected.

Truth is, those on the right should be afraid of Romney if he wins - you have no idea who or what he will be if he is President. He is on both sides of just about every issue. Just like his advisor admitted, he is the etch-a-sketch candidate.
