I think it's my 2nd favorite line, after the 'offensive line' line.
Can I just say how much I love having David Cross on this show?
I don't know why I find Lily's use of the f-word so hilarious.

It just occurred to me:
David Cross - Never Nude on Arrested Development
David Kross - Almost Always Nude in "The Reader"

"That would be the second most embarrsing thing thoat would happen to us today." "You said it wasn't that bad." "That was in the car, now we're in church."
"I don't know why I find Lily's use of the f-word so hilarious."
I actually found it funny as well.
What all the people who complained about the episode should realize is that situations similiar to this even happened on family TV shows and films. On an episode of 'Rugrats' Angelica learned a bad word from the woman on her favorite TV show, but the word was never revealed they just made sound effects every time the word was about to be said. However, the only difference with this show is that we know what the word was. But people also knew that word was said in the film, 'A Christmas Story' by Ralphie. Was there any controversy surrounding that?

Are a lot of people complaining about it? Kids overhear and repeat bad words in real life all the time. Geesh.

^ Protests were even made.
'Modern Family' airing F-bomb episode despite protests

Oh brother. They need to get the sticks out of their asses and get over it.
If you have enough time to plan a protest, I'm thinking you also have enough time to change the channel before your kid hears a bleeped word, if it bothers you so much.
Exactly. And any kid that is watching Modern Family is probably either a) old enough that they've heard the f word before or b) Young enough not to understand what was being said.
Or has a potty-mouthed mom like you, so what's the big deal?
“Our main goal is to stop this from happening,” said No Cussing Club founder McKay Hatch."
I think that's precious. In other news, the No Cussing Club is holding a bake sale to help out MaryAnne, Stacey and Claudia buy new art supplies for Stevie Henderson's 7th Birthday party next week!
I thought this one was one of the funniest Modern Family episodes ever! Jay and Stella, Gloria and "Estella", Claire and the rest of them...everyone was brilliant. I actually thought the F bomb story line was the least funny.

Hey!!!! I resemble that remark!
That dress!
All of the dresses in that wedding were hilarious.
I love that Modern Family makes me laugh out loud even when I'm watching it by myself. I was laughing through that whole wedding scene.

I wasn't crazy about Cam & Mitchel's story line until Mitchel's "Eight year old I fell in love with" line was overheard at the amusement park.
Phil's storyline and reaction to his three women's cycle was comedic genius- and Monsterating deserves a Pulitzer.
