It's all over Twitter, on various Canadian news and TV accounts. Sorry it's hard to post a direct link from my cell phone.
Most say he OD-ed in Vancouver.

This is now confirmed. 
He did have a problem with drugs and went into rehab last year.

HuffPo's article is using the Hollywood Reporter as their source.
This is extremely sad. He's been in and out of rehab for a while, at least since he was 19. It looked like GLEE was helping him with it, but I guess not.

You can thank the Internet, once again, for the speed at which the world went from 'he's dead!' to 'no, he's not. It's a hoax' back to 'no, now he's really dead'.

What a waste of life and opportunity.
I hadn't known that he struggled with addiction. I'm so sorry to hear this news.
Truly sad and my thoughts go out to all who love him.

He was recently having trouble but it sounded like he had it together to appear this upcoming season of the show. I'm still stunned to think this has actually happened.
