Yea! I want an update too. I have an almost 12 year old boy only child that I would love to show some interest in theatre. But alas, his interests are chess and Scouts. My goal in life was to be a supportive theatre mom, but I won't be a stage mom. My son gets to pick his interests and not me choose them for him. So I'll live vicariously through this board and root for all of you who are in the business and send good thoughts to your children, Mom!

I think he looks striking in the Cubs shirt, but I also think a wig would have sufficed, especially if it had age spots.

There was a story last week where photos were taken during a rehearsal. That's when he was wearing the Cubs shirt.

I saw the pictures too.

I think he did a brave thing, and looked good with his head shaved.

Too bad the make-up artist looked like he used a straight edge to apply the age make-up. It's like he totally ignored the natural shape of the face.

Mom's been out of town and only sent the link to a couple of posters. I couldn't find the original thread- I guess I didn't search very well. I don't hate anyone on this board so sueleen- check your PMS. By the way, I don't know etoile and don't know how that poster saw the article because I never sent it to that person. mom
P.S. The play went great. It was 90 minutes with over 55 pages of full dialog. He did a wonderful job! I just wish the makeup job would have made him look older. My son said the latex didn't work very well and they didn't have the time and resources to fully commit. The acting and courage it took for him to go full out were far more important to me. He also managed to make straight-A's in all honors classes at the same time- of course I'm bragging but I am very proud of him! He's a great kid! He now has a lot of black fuzz on his head! Did Etoile even post in this thread? I must say that you have probably posted enough personal information that someone could have found that link on their own. I don't know if that is the case, but I don't see where etoile was being overly critical. Now I was, but that is another story...
