I hate that lime green with white letters on the alternate dialogue boxes, Dame. I can barely read it. And pumping up the font size does little to help it. It's just a really bad choice for reading.

Not sure who uses Instagram here, but is anyone else having slight issues with Instagram? The functionality of it seems fine, - I can take pictures and upload - but after I upgraded, it doesn't seem to be optimized for the new software . The app is being extended beyond my screen and part of it is covered by the clock bar on the top. The bottom is cut off too. Also, the picture is extending beyond the square.

**This only happens when I grab an image from my camera roll. If I take a picture through the app everything seems to work fine.**

Not having that issue on the ipad nor the 4s. But I am sure instagram will be doing a update shortly.

As far as the texting colors...anyone know how to change that?

I don't think you can. They use the green to indicate a non-iMessage/SMS, and the blue to indicate iMessages. It's been that way since the introduction of iMessage, and if there was a way to change it on previous version of iOS I wasn't aware of it (or you were jailbroken).

Anyone noticing faster battery drain? I'm on a 4 and it seemed like I dropped to 40% in no time. I'm looking for stuff to deactivate to extend my charge.

And yes, I've noticed a significant decrease in battery life on my 4S since I upgraded to IOS 7.

ARRGH. So I did the update, but now my itunes (on my computer) won't recognize my iphone. It says I need to download 11.1 (which I did NOT do when it came out due to complaints) but I cannot figure out how to do it!

Please remember I am stupid when it comes to these things, so please explain it to me like I'm a two year old (well, maybe a five year old.)

Also: where do I find LOCATIONS, to turn it off?

Dramamama, to find Locations:

Settings --> Privacy

There is a Locations Services option and you can turn it off there. It always took me awhile to find too.

Also, can't you download the most recent iTunes from the website? I think there's a way to do it from within the software but I can't remember which options to choose.

Dramamama - go to www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and click the large "Download Now" button. This initiates a fresh install of the most recent iTunes version without corrupting your personal configuration of iTunes on your computer. The result is the same as if you had accepted the instruction to download a version update at the time of its release.

Regarding location services . . . wait until you upgrade to IOS 7. One of the options you will be offered when doing the initial configuration is whether you want to enable location services. You will get the question regardless of your current setting, so there's no benefit to playing with it beforehand.

The initial configuration prompts happen automatically after your phone has downloaded and installed the new software. You don't need to do anything to make it happen.

Later, if you change your mind about the location services setting, just follow millie-dillmount's instructions to update it.

Thanks for the help. The way the dialogue box was worded, I was trying to update my PHONE not my iTunes (on the puter)

However, now that that is complete, there are now songs on my phone that I can't delete: they aren't marked ON my itunes as being selected, but syncing did no good. Any suggestions?

In the Settings section go to Music. Check to make sure "Show All Music" is turned off. That might fix that issue, dramamama. If "Show All Music" is checked it will be showing everything you've purchased from the iTunes store, and possibly even more if you use iTunes Match (which you'll also want to turn off if you want to have more control over what is on and not on your phone).

As much as I like my iPhone, iTunes and Apple has grown extremely confusing. I tried to add music from another computer and it wouldn't drag to my phone, even when I enabled it to use my iTunes account. If I wanted it to work, I think I would have had to erase every song from my phone so it would sync with that computer's iTunes.

Before, I never had any issues with dragging music.

I've never had a Windows smartphone, but I think this upgrade looks flat and bright and oversimplified. Very Fisher-Price. I'm happy with the functionality so far, but the look of it is really kids stuff.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Are you sure it was finished? You should be able to go into your iTunes and put everything back...you certainly didn't LOSE them.
