Paris Hilton.

That's hot.

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

Can it be a place or building or must it be a person?

Statue of Liberty

Chrysler Building

Empire State Building

Come on! Do you really need to post a thread about this? Can't you google? Or think maybe?

Is this a serious question?

New York is the most iconic City in the entire United States, arguably all of North America.

There are TONS of Statue of Liberty costumes available, or you could just make one.

Why are WE doing YOUR homework?

I'm not sure I understand your assignment.

Are you looking for a list of people that make you think of NY like Liza, Billy Joel, etc...?

re: New York City Icons

little_fall_of_rain - maybe you could dress as the Peter Pan statue at the entrance to the childrens zoo in Central Park. It is very well known to anyone who has seen it.

its not homework, I just wanted some suggestions for an original idea beyond the normal suggestions and since I am not from the area (I am all the way in California) I thought I would ask for help.

The Rockettes

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Gary Beach dressed as the Chrysler building. And I don't think they're using his dress right now.
