The anchor is coming across as a total bitch, but not knowing them beyond these clips, maybe she's just awful at banter? To me, it seems like she's trying too hard to say something, anything witty. Just seems very forced.

I agree Madbrian, it seems to me to be a lame attempt at a Kathe/Lee Hoda type of banter without the ability or talent. Embarrassing actually. I hope the producers will step in and suggest they stop it.

I just don't think this kind of feud would be tolerated, so I would assume it's "friendly" banter. It's just so unfunny and lame. Any friend of mine who spoke to me that way wouldn't be a friend for long. Also, my friends are wittier.

This is such a turn-off and makes me uncomfortable. I certainly would not tune-in to this newscast because of this, and I agree that the anchor comes off as immature, mean-spirited and unprofessional.
