I feel that way about most of the women on the show, but not so much Julia, I guess. My issue with her character is that I don't sympathize with her at all. I think she's a really bad mother, and selfish. Sure it stems from her own problems with her parents, but eh. I dunno. I guess I just don't care for Jolie Richardson as an actress either.
I just feel like every episode is trying to outdo the last in terms of shock factor. And where has Wilbur been while Christian's banging Julia?

so...tonight's episode. thoughts?
The whole thing with Annie is so badly executed that it's funny. That poor kid..
The Eden character is so unbelievable and the storyline involving her stinks!! I love Nip/Tuck from the beginning, but I hate where it is going right now. Annie is a wanna be bulimic/anorexic slut with no scruples? Where did that come from? One week, she wants to live with Sean, and the next week she is obsessed with Eden. They really needed to work up to that storyline, not go from one extreme to the next. What happened to Sean and Julia's baby? And what is Sean's girlfriend's problem? Boring extra characters...the writers should just focus on Sean, Christian, Matt, and Kimba...and the patients they work on from week to week.

WTF is up with Eden's hideous '80s hair? She's right out of a freaking ZZ Top video.
She looks like that girl form "Saved By The Bell" and "Showgirls"....can't remember her name...
Elizabeth Berkley. She actually looks a lot like Kimber. I just hate this season so far. Bring back Ava, dammit.
The best season was the one with the twisted brother and sister terrorizing everyone. What were they called? "The cutter? Slasher?" Can't remember....
I'm not liking Eden. I get what they're trying to do but it's poorly written, poorly acted and just plain boring.

jennifer, that was The Carver. And while it had me glued to my seat, the show never lived up to season two, with the twisted Ava (plus, there was a GREAT guest spot with Alec Baldwin).

oh my gosh, I love Alec Baldwin.
Eden IS so 80s! Did you see the preview for next week's episode? Her hair!
And yea, what the hell happened to Sean and Julia's baby? And why doesn't one of those parents grow a pair, for God's sake? They need to stop following the pattern of Sean getting angry, getting ready to take a stand, and then falling for the aggressor. And the same goes for Julia - she needs to really step up to the plate for once.
Anne is like a sleeper character. We haven't had one solitary moment of "getting to know" her or deepening her character at all over the seasons
Tonight's episode was ridiculous. I have been a fan since the beginning of the show and this Eden character is really ruining it for me. The best part of the show tonight was when Christian screwed her with the meds, and Sean and his girlfriend had that huge blowout. Where is the storyline going with Kimba and Matt? Good Matt, bad Matt, good Matt, bad Matt- when are they going to give him a real storyline? Christian blackmailed by that little tramp? Since when is Christian intimidated by anyone? Julia..ho..hum//boring as usual. WHat happened to Annie? Is that storyline done?
I am just not giving a poo about this show this year. Sean could not have been more cruel to poop girl. Christian is very un-Christian this year. Didn't he end last week's episode in church? No reference to that this week? Julia is as annoying as ever, Kimber is uninteresting and Matt looks like a Wookie. Eden is horrible. Portia is the one bright light this season, but just because she is fun to look at. Are they ever gonna mention the fact that their scrub nurse just decided to move cross country with them? What's the point in moving the location if everyone on the damn show came, too?
I do find it funny that they have cracked on or referenced Grey's in pretty much every episode so far this season.
And I can't handle the concept of Bo Duke as a porn star.
I know...that freaked me out. Well, talking about the stars of the 80's sitcoms made me think- is it the same Jennifer Salt from "Soap" that has been writing the episodes?

JG, the show absolutely sucks this season. There's not one intriguing plot point.
"Are they ever gonna mention the fact that their scrub nurse just decided to move cross country with them?" LOL. Nurse Linda! Besides that, where the f*ck is lobster claw baby?!
And Kate is way too good for Sean.

I missed the first 5 minutes and a few snippets from last week - so I'm assuming Christian slept with Eden, right? And so did Sean?
Christian is becoming a snore this season. And can someone gag Julia? If I see her latch on to one more person and to the "supportive significant other" routine, I'm going to scream.
And next week looks absolutely ridiculous
Nope. Nobody slept with Eden.
I liked Jai Rodriguez and the Matt possibly doing gay porn bit. That was as close as this show got to interesting all season. And Eden looked way better with her extreme makeover whore edition. Still hate her though.

Nope. Nobody slept with Eden.
Really? So then what is she holding over Christian and Sean's heads then? I'm so confused
and yeah - Matt was like, bionic man. The things on his neck looked like an outlet plug

misschung, she's blackmailing Christian, not Sean. She knows he slept with Julia recently (when Olivia told her to get it out of her system). Sean barely forgave him the first time around.

Oh, okay. So then, is she just stalking Sean to tease him? She didn't do it so much in this episode, but in the last one she did.
I hate all these characters
I couldn't agree with you more...I hate all these characters too. And, yes, Eden is just playing a game with Sean. She doesn't have anything over his head. Just Christian's...
I loved this show in the beginning, and sadly, it hit its peak in season 2.
Seasons three, four and five just don't compare.
GIVE ME AVA!
Yes, Ava was fabulous!!! Did you ever see Love and Sex?

Ava was terrific. And Alec Baldwin was equally as delicious in his small (but memorable) role at the end of the season.
