Reading six posts in a row from Joe is more fun than I had any right to expect. If the ACA is so bad, let it fail! The party that lost the presidential election and only took one chamber of the house -- and only then because of gerrymandering -- really shouldn't have to shut down the government to get satisfaction in their hissy fit. On the other hand, watching the know nothing tea partiers go after the establishment Repubs is pretty entailing too. Tyler Perry once said a house divided against itself can not stand. What I hope to learn through this exercise is DOES Sue believe it when she posts a lie like the Obamacare bill is 10,000 pages long) (Twice)? Did she hear that on a right-wing talks how and just swallow it? Some crap gets some truthiness through repetition. I know good decent liberals who think there might be some fuzziness around Obama's birth certificate (there isn't) because the damn thing got talked about so much. But don't they check it out? I don't believe ANYTHING I read on line any more. Especially if it seems the least bit odd. Why would you say "Congress exempted themselves" without seeing what that meant? How would they do that?

I suspect they KNOW it's BS. They KNOW you can always find a fourth or fifth string conservative news site that will repeat the most outrageous lie and pretend that's a valid source. I wonder- does Sue know?

I think part of the problem is a lot of people see obama as the chosen one and a lot of others see him as the devil. So they think what he does must be right or wrong slavishly. He neither has a halo or horns is not in robes or is not not wearing any clothes.

Joe, the AP just published an article with the preliminary description of the plans and tentative estimates of costs. There really isn't any detail about what you get in the various plans. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

As a world class cynic about the ability of our government to do anything at estimated cost, I will look forward to seeing how and if the numbers change as well as how the coverage changes.

Dented the odd thing about that AP article s that each state regulates insurance companies- so I, in Illinois, will have totally different options from someone in Michigan or Arizona. Next week the exchanges will be up and we will all know for sure.

Seriously? What about GW Bush? Republicans worshiped Dubya. He could do no wrong.Look at how many supported Bush on the War in Iraq? The Patriot Act? Even the 'liberal media' gave Bush a free pass on the lead up to the war.So, don't go there Sue.

I know PLENTY of Obama supporters,myself included,who do not support Obama 100% on everything. I don't feel no President is gonna be perfect and do EVERYTHING his supporters want. Eventually that President will piss off some people,including his supporters. Theres more I agree with and support Obama on than I disagree with him on. This is why I support him. However, I have not been shy about voicing my opinions when he does something like carry on Bush's policies for example.

What reporter gets erections and chills down their legs listening to Obama? Where did you read this? Do you have pictures,documented proof? Anything? Have you heard anyone at Fox talk about Ronald Reagan? Read the quote at the bottom of my profile. Three sides Sue, Three sides!

I am not denying it but you are not denying what I said about Bush or the Republicans. Yes, some in the press(not all) admire Obama and he can do no wrong in these people's eyes. The same towards 'some' (I said SOME) Obama supporters. However, the same can be said about any President,Republican or Democrat. Sue, to debate is not to prove you are always right. Its to listen and to learn. I think it is You who would get an F, not me.

I STRONGLY disagree about ABC,CBS,NBC,Washington Post, CNN,etc.IMO, that is simply not true.

I'm Estonian and no one has ever accused me of leaning to the right,although I was born here my parents were born in Tallinn.My Dad is an independent and my Mom a proud liberal Democrat.One of my Aunts who lives in Estonia loves Obama and tells me how lucky we are to have such a great President.
