And yes, I do work for a temp agency currently, but that's not getting me any skills in my field, and I live in a fairly small city where the unemployment rate is close to 11% since Obama has been in office. But In the next year I'm going to move to a bigger city with a lower unemployment rate where I will able to get a real job, I'm not saying I'm a victim, I just think that if obama is reelected the unemployment rate isn't going to change and continue to stay high."
Went to college in New York but hails from West Coast. I assume since she is a SF Giants fan that she is from California. Could be wrong on that but not like I am dealing with a reliable source.

Funny thing about this thread. This new poster comes in and starts this thread, which is taken over by an old trollish poster who admits to having duplicate accounts. Where is the OP? Why isn't s/he taking part in this discussion that s/he started? Could it be that having started this thread, his/her task was over?
eta: in other words, don't you think it's possible abbynormal has more than one duplicate account, the OP possibly being one of them? Either way, why continue to engage this account? As junglered says, no minds will be changed here, and there isn't any kind of reasonable exchange going on. What is the purpose of continuing it?

I'm not from California and don't live in California yet, but I plan on moving there soon. I haven't updated my profile since I moved back home so that's why it still says I live in NY, but I live in Oregon now and yes I know Brian Wilson is a liberal, who cares? He's still a great player and quite a character. I have liberal friends, I don't hate liberals, I just don't agree with them.
I agree california has good public universities, Oregon doesn't, sure we have a good football team, but the schools aren't great. And I realize my private university had liberal professors, but they didn't try to convince us one way or the other like my high school teachers did. I don't care if you're liberal or conservative, if you teach, you shouldn't be trying to convince your students to sway one way or the other.
And romantico, I don't have a problem with people forming gay/straight alliances, my private, Catholic school had one, I didn't have a problem with it at all. I'm not one of those republicans who hates them thinks groups like that that should be banned.

This will be my first and only response to you, abby. Of course I do. In fact, to me, it's very obvious. It's a familiar pattern. CountA (aka mikey, who even has made an appearance here to cheer you on)) did the same thing. Understand, I don't think you wrote the original post, I just think it's quite possible you lifted it and Joe's name off of the internet to use to set the trap for some of the posters here. I think the real Joe Bialek would be surprised to learn that he posted here.
In any case, if your life is SO busy, why are you here? Surely you know you won't change any minds - so what other reason would you be here with your admittedly multiple accounts but to stir things up? Serious question. Please answer it.
To the rest of you - you've been had. Go ahead and waste your time, if you want, but know that you're doing nothing but pleasuring a troll. Keep that vision in your head every time you think about responding to it.

Believe me, I know what obamacare is, I do real research and don't just believe everything MSNBC tells me like I'm sure so many of you do.
No, you obviously don't:
It forces everyone to buy insurance and if you don't have insurance you're going to be fined every year you don't have it. Everyone seems to think it's free, news flash, it's not!! It's going to raise everyone's taxes because we're going to be paying for everyone else to have insurance, why can't people just buy their own?!
How are we paying for everyone else's insurance if it's not free for anyone and everyone else has to pay?
If obamacare continues, I guess I will be forced to get it, or pay a fine every year to not have it, but don't you find it a bit unconstitutional to be forced to have a certain kind of health insurance and not be able to choose your own?

But now people don't have to do anything and they still get insurance, that makes no sense

And of course I'm going to have insurance, it's not that I don't want insurance, I just don't think everyone should have it if they can't afford it or don't want to work for it, and if they can't afford it everyone who pays taxes will have to pay for it.
What does that have to do with Obamacare? Or have you moved on to fully socialized healthcare without benefit of a segue? Because that is a different discussion. When you have used and experienced socialized health care in a country that provides it, then please provide us with a detailed discussion on your personal experience.
But liberals seem to think the government should take care of everyone and give them free food and whatever else they need, which is why there's more people on food stamps and dependent on the government now than ever before, but you can't seem to accept that!

So, all public colleges are the same? Like, a public college in New York or Massachusetts will have the exact same liberal agenda as one in say, Arkansas or Mississippi? Sounds like you are just fond of bigoted generalizations.
At any rate, I would suggest more education for you. Or maybe some facts. They make little more sense than this, and these are people with MBAs and, in one case, a PHD. At least that guy is rich, so his position is somewhat understandable - even if he can't express it without saying "well, yeah, but what about Obama!"
