And by the way, I love that picture of Drew as Armand that you have from the program! Though now I have "After All This Time" stuck in my head. Not that this is a bad thing...
joanna, is your icon pic from a program? Is there a souvenier program avaliable for the show now? :)
Yeah, there is! Most of the pictures in it we've already seen, but there's a couple of new ones (like that one of Armand).
Scans were provided by Little-lotte from the Lestat/Panarophile boards. Joanna uploaded them to her photobucket and posted the link on the Drew Sarich community at LJ:

PS. Sorry for stealing your.. question.. Joanna. LOL
Oooh thanks for the pics. :) I really wish they had released production photos of him as Armand in SF. But I guess they had already done their one photoshoot when Jack was still in the role. Oh well...
As most of us are aware, Broadway.com is no longer doing the Lestat blog. They won't take the camera back to the theatre for them to do more and I hear cast members aren't too pleased? And obviously, I'm not too pleased, either. Those blogs were fun and seemed to get a lot of people interested in seeing the show. So, what we need to do is pester the hell out of Broadway.com until they break and take the camera back!

Though for obvious reasons, keep it mature. :p Not that any of you wouldn't, but I suppose that's a precaution?

Not really; they didn't even do a photo shoot of Jack in costume! (Or anybody, for that matter.)
Yes, they did. I saw production photos from SF and one had Jack as Armand in it. I'll have to dig them up if I can.
D'oh. I forgot about that one. I was thinking of the brochure.
Good job beating me to it. :p Haha. There were more from SF. I think they're in a photo op here on BWW somewhere? Like a "sneak peak" thing... maybe.

There originally was a pic of Jack, and it's the one I included. It just disappeared later on.
I saw the show in SF three times. Drew's wig in NY is very strange.
I have no idea what Drew's wig looked like in San Fran.
Lestat snagged two nominations - one for Carolee (which seemed to surprise people?) and one for costume design! Very happy for them!
I'm so happy it at least got those two. :) I was hoping for score as well, but I guess that includes both score AND lyrics right, so maybe the Tony's wouldn't go for that. Congrats though! And I hope they leave the show open until after summer!
Back to the wig thing: Yeah that was a major thing I noticed about SF, both Drew and Jim had also identical wigs (Jim's stayed the same throughout), although Drew's was black even though Jack's was kinda reddish.
Also (interesting side note) if you take a look at the footage of the OLD "Welcome to the New World" when the cast is lined up downstage, Drew is the guy standing right next to Hugh during that number. I noticed it when I saw it, cause Armand wasn't in a huge chunk of the second act of SF (dunno if that's changed) but he played Armand but he was also still in the chorus for "Welcome to the New World." Check it out on the various bway.com blogs. :)
I don't know that the webmistress for JimStanek.com has the means to do any sort of video blog, but I wouldn't count out Hugh's. :) It's just that Jim's site is very new and still a growing baby. Hee.

He's also "Marius" in the earlier version of what became Morality Play. He's in all the intros on the Lestat blogs on Broadway.com. You can see him whipping around his red robe. :)
Ah that's right Lizzie. :) An Jo, there is a blog that is dedicated to the revising of Welcome, and I believe they show clips from the old version.
I wouldn't have noticed that Drew was also in WTTNW had I not been sitting where I was in SF. He was literally right in front of me, it was like "Oh! Hello, you look familiar." I was half expecting him to grab Hugh and chuck him into the pit.

I just snorted juice up my nose. Thank you.

Says Drew is the guest tomorrow right there. :) Seems Carolee is just appearing at random. Hehe.
It'll air here on BWW next week. :) Keep an eye out.
