Also (interesting side note) if you take a look at the footage of the OLD "Welcome to the New World" when the cast is lined up downstage, Drew is the guy standing right next to Hugh during that number.
He's also "Marius" in the earlier version of what became Morality Play. He's in all the intros on the Lestat blogs on Broadway.com. You can see him whipping around his red robe. :)

Ah that's right Lizzie. :) An Jo, there is a blog that is dedicated to the revising of Welcome, and I believe they show clips from the old version.
I wouldn't have noticed that Drew was also in WTTNW had I not been sitting where I was in SF. He was literally right in front of me, it was like "Oh! Hello, you look familiar." I was half expecting him to grab Hugh and chuck him into the pit.
Holy crap! Can anyone record it? Pleeasse? I can never seem to get Seth's shows.
Oh and do you have a link? I found one for Seth's Chatterbox but it says Lauren Molina and Mark Jacoby are going to be on. help!

Drew sang a little bit from a song (I'm assuming "Out There") from Hunchback of Notre Dame.
But on a more depressing note, when Carolee said they were recording the CD on Monday, Seth was all "be careful, you don't want to blow your vocal chords" and apparently both Carolee and Drew were basically "we're not sure how much longer we'll be performing, so we're going to sing our hearts out for that recording."
That breaks my heart to hear. *hugs entire Lestat cast*
My thoughts and hugs as well to the entire Lestat cast as well. You guys have my total and utter respect, and I love you all! Updated On: 5/21/06 at 11:04 PM
I am. I'll never get to see the NY version of the show. But mainly I'm really sad for the cast who have worked so f&cking hard and didn't get what they deserved for this show.
The good news is that it DOES look like Drew is going on as Lestat tomorrow. :) YAY!
I guess that must be the reason. If that is the case Hugh is even more of a class act than he has already proven to be. I wonder if he'll be in the audience tomorrow afternoon.
So is anyone going to tomorrow's matinee? I would kill to go.
Yeah, I heard that just now from a friend of mine. Someone asked him what role we'd be seeing him on as tomorrow and he said Armand.
In other news, it seems Jim is taking the route we thought Hugh was an is calling out at some point tomorrow to let Chris Peluso go on as Louis. Jim = nicest guy ever. Hugh would be #2 if he let Drew go on as Lestat, plz. Haha.
I thought I heard that Jim wasn't feeling well and so wanted to rest up for the closing weekend. Not that he isn't the nicest guy ever, I'm just saying... :)
Steve Wilson. I saw him as Magnus when I saw the show, so that wasn't Joseph's first time calling out. I don't know how many times he's been out of the show, but yeah.
