Well, to make up for things I wanted to reply to that I forgot about...wanted to say this a couple nights ago, completely forgot...
Barb, the game on his website where you get to play w/ Greg's face is awesome!!(and quite addicting..) Not when you do too much but when you fine little cute funny things to do...give him a big pointy nose, make funny expressions w/ his lips. Actually when I brought his hair down he looked a little like Jack Black..

wrq, LOL ... yeah, that warp image thing is fun to play with, ha ha!
Site's updated ... best thing to do is just go to the main page (link in sig) and check the "updates" ... 7/30 GregCam images are up; fan art from Catherine (Blucat); and a few Broadway Barks Event photos that Jessica was kind enough to send our way.
If I ever went to church on a Sunday morning NOT sleepy, not sure what I'd do. lol Been a long time since dinner, now I'm hungry again ... fridge raid then beddy-bye!!
Peace, y'all!

you volunteer, and they've never given you a backstage tour? i know theater is hectic and all, but that seems kind of rude.
Nope. I've ushered all over the place (including NY), greeted theatre-goers at the door, worked charity events, stuffed envelopes, you-name-it. Any time I've even mentioned going back stage (and I gave that up a long time ago) I was reminded firmly that I was a VOLUNTEER and shouldn't expect any kind of 'payment'.
Well, I've never expected any kind of payment. If I did, I wouldn't keep volunteering! Anyway, you hear that a couple of times and you stop asking. I'm just asking you folks who manage to do it, how you do it?
I've never gotten backstage or even tried, but my theory is they E-mail him saying they are going to see the show on such and such day and are very excited and he being the fabulously wonderful guy he is invites them backstage...Although I could be completely wrong!!
...Wickedrentq you and the nard just bumped into him on the street and got invited true?
Anyway not that he would necessarily want this role, but the thread on the main board sparked the idea, wouldn't Jbara be a great wizard in wicked?
lol, I wish I knew how everybody is getting backstage.. GOOD NEWS!!! I AM GONNA MEET GREG!! I AM BUGGIN' OUT. I'm going to the city just to meet him. I had emailed him a little back to tell him, so I hope he got the email, maybe I'll be blessed and he'll invite me back! That would like make my life complete, lol.
Well, unless they're slipping Jbara serious money it must just be through E-mail...
Maybe that's how he can afford so many shorts!
Hey guys. Here's the link I promised you all for my webshots. There's more than just Broadway Barks. But anyway... here you go. I update it alot so new stuff will get added.
Broadway Pictures...

Morning, everyone...sort of. :-/ It's almost eleven...anyway, I've decided to do something that's not me...I'm going to sing for someone...if you read about David earlier in the thread...well, he's my target. I know Wicked is very overused, but I'm singing a part of As Long As You're Mine! I'm really excited, actually. I usually would be nervous.
Okay, enough about my life...how about yours?

First I want to address what Mamie said ... I agree with the person who said it was rude of people at theatres you've *volunteered* for to not allow you a visit backstage. Okay, fine, maybe a volunteer shouldn't expect any form of "payment," but I don't really see going backstage as a form or reimbursement, but rather simple human courtesy, a way of saying "thank you for what you've done for us."
So anyway, here's my advice, fwiw, on the going backstage thing when it comes to Greg and DRS. I wouldn't leave it to chance and wishful thinking and simply hoping Greg would invite me. I think it's best to email him a polite personal note, telling him when you're planning to be at the show and that you'd love to go backstage afterwards if it's possible and fits in with his schedule. I'd try and let him know the date I was planning to come at least seven days in advance, more if possible. Remember that only so many people can get backstage ... it's pretty small back there, especially dressing room areas, so if by some chance a bunch of different people requested backstage visits after the same show, same day, I'd think that would be rather difficult!
From emails I've seen come through from people requesting visits backstage, the common things seem to be that they're complimentary in some way (they enjoy the web cam, OR they've already seen DRS a time or two and enjoyed his performance, OR they haven't seen the show yet but have enjoyed him in another show, or movie or tv role; or maybe some combination of these, etc.), and secondly, they're courteous in asking for a visit backstage ("I realize you're busy and this might not be possible on this date, but it would be wonderful if it could happen...").
Hope that helps! :)

Hi Barb...and thank you again for digging up that pic!
Barb- Thanks for the advice. I didn't ask Greg to invite me backstage due to the fact that I didn't want to seem like nI was prying or something, so I didn't want to seem rude. I guess I won't be invited back then, lol. Oh well, just meeting Greg is enough, but it'd be AWESOME if I did get to go back!
Great pics! Is it just me or was Greg carrying a purse?

Blu, I don't think he's carrying you, so must be a purse! :)
What you can't see are the matching high heels.
