Anyone else love these interviews? Robert Osborne is such a great interviewer, I wish he would do these every week. He even got me to appreciate Betty Hutton, and that's somethin'!
LOVE his interviews! Also, his little commentaries before the films on primetime (after 8pm) are always very interesting.

I love Robert Osborne! He's so genuinely enthusiastic about the movies that I can't change the channel when he's on.
Borstal, I am so happy you have seen the Betty light.
I wish he would release these on DVD.
I loved the interview with Ann Miller, too.
He just did one with some surviving child actors of the 30's and 40's and it was fantastic. I also enjoy his movie nights with friends of his..where they pick 4 movies to show in an evening.
It's interesting to not only see what people like Bill Cosby or Tom Ford pick, but then hear their reasons why as they are interviewed between each film.
Anyone have any ideas for people who are still with us who Mr. Osbourne could do an episode with?
I'd like to see him interview Jennifer Jones.
I have always found Robert Osbourne very sexy. He is a wealth of information and has had an interesting life. I would love to be seated next to him at a dinner party.

Eleanor Parker, Joan Fontaine and Luise Rainer come to mind. Did he interview Olivia de Havilland yet? If not, then her too!
EDIT: He took my friend Andrea King to lunch and interviewed her for the Hollywood Reporter. She absolutely adored him.
Jane Powell?
Definitely! The younger MGM players should all be interviewed:
Elizabeth Taylor (wouldn't she be great with him?)
Jane Powell
Cyd Charisse
Debbie Reynolds
Margaret O'Brien
Anne Rutherford
Gloria De Haven
Or better yet sit 'em down all at once for an MGM reunion interview!
I believe he may have already interviewed one or two of those ladies. I seem to recall Debbie Reynolds and (and I'm not so sure of this one) Jane Powell. I'd like to add Van Johnson - so get some male presence here!
Margaret O'Brian was interviewed by Osborne, but she was part of a panel of child actors discussing their roles in the hollywood system. She did talk at length about Meet Me in St Louis, though. Jane Withers is a happy person with nothing but optimism and great memories. She looked disturbed by Darryl Hickman's rather angry memories. Dickie Moore still has those great brown eyes and remembered the Our Gang days of greatness.
This is the list I found, in order:
Jane Powell
Esther Williams
Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell
Mickey Rooney
Ann Miller
June Allyson
Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau
Charlton Heston
Anthony Quinn
Leslie Caron
Betty Hutton
Rod Steiger
James Garner
Debbie Reynolds
Shirley MacLaine
Patricia Neal
Lauren Bacall
Sidney Lumet
Angela Lansbury
Child Stars(Darryl Hickman, Margaret O’Brien, Dickie Moore, Jane Withers)
Stanley Donen
Jane Fonda
Norman Jewison
What about Lena Horne? I don't know how she's doing health-wise. But she'd be great!
Also Kim Novak.
Doris Day!
I saw the Stanley Donen one. He's had such an amazing career. It was great to hear him talk about his films.
Some of the sixties stars would be great too: Julie Christie and Malcolm McDowell!
Sure, but they're not dying out as fast!
Still, he should get some of them:
Julie Andrews
Robert Redford
Paul Newman
Sophia Loren
Oh, and he should definitely interview (non-'60s) Shirley Temple!
Oh yes, I really enjoy his interviews. They are re-running two tonight--Ann Miller 2:00 AM & Leslie Caron 5:00 AM.
They're both great - particularly Annie's.
Julie Harris would be a great guest.
