'Do you shop all the major metro areas?'
The answer to that is a resounding yes. But the 'normal' guys interest me more than the ones for hire.
When you don't go by 'the ways of the world', people (general speaking) mock you, but when you do, people say nothing.
Come again?
Haggard has stepped down, thats very very suspicious.
Quick excerpt, plus link.
Ted Haggard, one of the most prominent evangelical pastors in the nation, resigned today as president of the National Association of Evangelicals amid allegations that he carried on a three-year sexual relationship with a male prostitute.
Haggard, founder of the 14,000-member New Life Church, has denied the accusations but said in a statement released by the church today that he could "not continue to minister under the cloud created by accusations made on Denver talk radio this morning."
Suspected Homo-loving mega Church preacher, steps down.
Yee-haw! Another one down!
How many more gay-baiting hypocritical bigots to go?
I live in Denver and I have known Mike Jones socially for about 14 years. (Although I haven't seen im out at the bars in a very long time) First off, the Pastor had to step down because it is what they do when accused of something. The Evangelical Board of Pastors, or just some other Pastors (I am not sure which), down there in the Springs announced a press conference and then all of a sudden, the press conference is not happening.
A bit on Mike. A lot of us know him from the bars. Mike is a bit older, but trust me, men used to fall over themselves when he walked into the bar. His body was unbelieveable. (And I am sure it is still nice!) A lot of people thought he was on steroids. Maybe he was. (I will admid he looks a little worn. Maybe he stopped them?!) Over the years that I have known him, he has been a very cordial guy. Very quiet and never picked people up in the bars. You would at first think that he was a guy with beauty and no brains, but he is an intelligent guy. (Although there was just something there that you couldn't put your finger on). I didn't realize that he was an escort until about 4 years ago. He used to, might still, advertise in the big gay newspaper here in Denver. When the news really hit here today, my phone rang and I talked to people from Denver that now live across the US who all recognized him. Our worry? We have a big Referendum up for vote on Tuesday for Gay Legal Rights. His timing couldn't have been worse. (Possibly). My friends and I have come up with two things....We hope the Evangelicals cancelled the press conference hoping it will blow over. Or that they cancelled it because there may be some truth to this. We are hoping it doesn't flare up again until after Tuesday as the Referendum (Ref. I) is ahead in the polls. If his accusations have any negative bearing on this Referendum before Tuesday, he will have struck a big blow to the Denver Gay community. (There is also an Amendment being voted on here to regarding Gay marriage) If he cannot prove this (He says he has voice mails and an envelope Haggard used to send him money) then he could possibly deal a big blow to the Gay community in general.
<--- votes we send out more men to prostitutize to the masses.
"he will have struck a big blow to the Denver Gay community"
You said a mouthful...
What scares me and my friends is that the large younger segment of the Gay community here that doesn't vote anyway, won't go out and vote for this Referendum as is. It is not getting as much publicity as Amendment 2 did. And it passed. The gay community banned together to get it overturned. And a lot of those people who didn't vote, didn't realize what had actually happened until the push to have it overturned. Now I am not saying that their votes would have made the difference, but every vote counts.
I wouldn't worry uncageg. It's the other side that's worried.

This is from an email update just sent out by Stephen Bennett, a top spokesman of the religious right, and yet another man loosely affiliated with the Concerned Women for America.
Stephen ended, "Will this affect the elections next Tuesday? Are Republicans disenfranchised with the hypocrisy within their own party - especially the hypocrisy within the driving force - the Christian Conservative base? You better believe it.
"The more and more hypocrisy I see each day, the more I realize next Tuesday we are going to get EXACTLY what we deserve. Yet I must NEVER forget where I came from and always remember 'But for the grace of God, there go I.'"
Religious right spokesman: Haggard scandal will absolutely depress evenagelical voter turnout

The scandal is not about sex but about hypocrisy! The conservative “christians” that continue to judge and oppress need to get on their knees and pray for forgiveness.
I feel terrible for the family, but I am sure that they are all part of their un-christian movement of oppression.
This “minister” is an adviser to Bush?
Nice November surprise!
It's the wording of the two denials that I find striking. Compare:
"I've never had a gay relationship with anybody. I'm steady with my wife. I'm faithful to my wife,"
with:
"I have never done drugs, ever -- not even in high school,"
the wording of the latter is very straightforward. The wording of the first quote leaves plenty of room for interpretation. Sorta like the Bible.

Robbie, I noticed that also. He uses the word "relationship". He stole Clinton's playbook.
Exactly...it wasn't until my mid 20's that I found myself in a gay relationship. Doesn't mean I wasn't having lots of the gay sex, though.
This reminds me of when Mary Jo Butaffuco was defending her husband when the Amy Fisher thing first happened:
"My Joey didn't sleep with nobody. My Joey didn't sleep with NOBODY. Okay, maybe once..."
"The bitch shot me in the head."
God, I miss Mary Jo.
She was so ripe for a Long Island production of The Vagina Monologues. I mean, if the New Haven production got Patty Hearst...
It was reported on the Today show this morning that Haggard has admitted to some of the allegations being true and that is why he has stepped down.
Hi, daddy.
Let's play the easiest game of all: WHICH ONE'S THE BOTTOM?
Ya know...I bet Ted Haggard could also say "The bitch shot me in the head".
"Ya know...I bet Ted Haggard could also say "The bitch shot me in the head". "
I hate you, robbiej. I so hate you!!
That's what happens sometimes when we live in truth.
lol
That was f***ing funny.
And, I wouldn't mind having a thing going on with me and Mr. Jones
MEEEEE AAAAAND MR., MR. JOOOOOOOOOOONES
