Posted: 9/18/08 at 3:13amKenley snickered at Daniel, too, when they were being judged on the runway. Did you see the preview of next week where we see Tim's comments about sarcasm? Can't wait, she needs to be bitch-slapped, LOL.

When Kenley and her model both laughed out loud during the critique of Joe, I wanted to smack her in the mouth. She is an arrogant bitch.
I was sad to see Joe go but based on last night alone, I can see why he was the one to leave. Suede has to be next.
What the hell did Jerell have on his head? Feathers?

I'm not sure Joe should've gone before Suede, who has not impressed yet. Last night was a toss up between the two and I would've gone with sending Suede home due to his complete lack of taste.
Kenley is not as talented as she thinks she is, and she TOTALLY lucked out with the draw of model last night. I am amazed she and her model were not called out on the runway for giggling at another designer. Perhaps it was in the editing and they were laughing at something else...dont know, but we've seen her looks for a LONG time now, and she shows little versatility. I'm not impressed with her at all...even when I liked her personality, I was not that impressed with her clothes.
Jerrell deserved the win, and I think he has a shot at the final with Korto and Leanne, but having seen the lines they designed, I dont think he has a shot at winning. It'll come down to Leanne and Korto, imo.

I loved how ahe towered over the daughter/mothers on the runway last night. Hell, her legs alone were taller than all of them.
My favorite new Heidi quote is from last week, "Oo, dhat was bahd".

That was a great line, Somms!
I love making the Blog rounds the morning after the show...
"At what point does love turn to ambivalence, and ambivalence to hate? I would suggest that, in the case of Project Runway's awful Kenley, I began to seriously cool on her last week (ambivalence!) and really just couldn't abide her anymore last night (hate). Which was funny because I actually kinda liked two of the other people I've normally disliked. The world is upside down! Project Runway is lurching ever closer to the end of its final Bravo season!
Last night there were moms—short ones, tall ones, fat ones, skinny ones, even ones with chicken pox—and their daughters. The challenge was to give the recent college-graduate daughters a head-to-toe makeover to prepare them for the professional world. No mind was paid to the fact that this country is currently a scorched, burnt-over land where no one can get jobs, no matter how smartly they are dressed. But, no matter! On with the challenge."

Doesn't anyone think that maybe the Kenley/model laugh was edited in at that moment? For them both to laugh seemed like a reaction to something the judges would have said directly to them (You guys are so similar! ROFL) instead of both of them mocking someone else.
And this is not the first instance I have been ultra-suspicious of the show being edited in such a way.

I've heard that they edit it to make it look more dramatic but it did seem like Kenley laughed first and then her model laughed after getting the okay TO laugh, and it looked like it all happened in real time. Who knows. Kenley is still a mega bitch.

Posted: 9/18/08 at 2:57pmI can't stand Kenley. Her voice irritates me beyond no measure. I would love for Leanne to win but I'd be happy with either Korto or Jerrell winning as well. Jerrell deserved the win last night. I loved how the designers were saying that Leanne got the "Hedda Lettuce" last night! LOL

Posted: 9/19/08 at 9:16amAgreed Roninjoey. Even if they did edit the moment, Kenley is still a bitch. She's so arrogant and all she does is complain. And that voice, ugh!

Posted: 9/19/08 at 9:38amEven the vile Jeffrey Sebelia was adult enough to let his clothing be evaluated and not stand there like an ultra-defensive jerk. How is she going to survive this business if she isn't even willing to listen to criticism? No one is saying she has to heed the advice or change a thing. Tim, for example, is never nasty when he critiques. But as soon as he comes over she exclaims how much SHE loves her garment. If it even appears that he's going to have concerns or ask questions, she whines, her eyes narrow, she crosses her arms like a defiant little girl. Tim--or the judges or anyone else who doesn't think the design is good--doesn't 'get' her, or they don't know what they're talking about, or she doesn't care what they think. If she's not open to even hearing a different point of view or take on her work, how can she learn?

I like the name Snickers for her because she does remind me a bit of a candy bar.
Her behavior is atrocious but I think their editing the show to make her even worse than she really is.

I'm not so sure Jane. Leanne, who doesn't say much, has had a lot of soundbites about Kenley and her cockiness, constant yammering and rude behavior.

Were those soundbites aired on the show, SOMMS?
I guess I didn't pay enough attention. Kenley's immature, that's what I think.
#391re: Project Runway 5
Posted: 9/19/08 at 10:00amUp until Leanne won a challenge the only time you saw her was a workroom comment about Kenley and her being full of herself, or how disruptive she is in the work area. I think there's been one on every episode.

I've suspected they're editing Kenley to look worse, as well. But there's no getting away fromt he snotty behavior she exhibits directly on camera. I've really started to loathe her. And I'm not sure why she's getting under my skin so much. Maybe because there are no real "villains" this season?
Jane2, great new avatar, btw!

Oh, and have we mentioned her "Thanks" when she realized that she was safe, but didn't win?

Thanks, Reggie. And yes-I almost forgot that soreloser look she had when she didn't win.
She's just a spoiled brat who's immature.

Am loving Tim putting Kenley in her place.
Even though she doesn't get it.
