Lohan as a guest judge? I thought Ari was Samantha Ronson when the show started so it makes sense.

I am glad with who got voted off. The outfit was horrible.

I'm glad she's gone-they haven't given in to the "drama" shtick. Standing her head-she gave it a try, didn't work, hon.

She certainly took it well, though.

I was happy with the result, if only because I hate it when they cut the cute guys early.

Mitchell made a mistake, but it was clear that Ari was just out there - to the point of which that it's hard to reel her back in. And while I appreciate avant-garde or out of the box concepts, hers just wasn't good.

I'm very happy that Christopher won. For a person who didn't have the fashion education as some of the other folks there, he did a fantastic job and I am hoping he'll keep on sending out more amazing things as the season progresses. I also really liked Louis - the very moment I saw her I knew she was going to be the vintage chick!

I would not have minded if Qristal went home. I thought her dress was hideous. It was atrocious if you asked me. At least Ari has a point of view, a bananas one, but a point of view. Also, Mitchell should have gotten the boot. There are no excuses on Runway and that kaftan was a joke.

I didn't care for any of the dresses. Especially for the red carpet. The one made by the crying guy-the red one they liked-I didn't like its silhouette at all. It kind of looked like an ankle length bib.

Okay, I am really bad with names here.

What exactly was that Emmy event the two models went to where they got the bag, boots and rings? Was it some sort of sample sale?

Jane, I agree about the silhouette on that dress. The overhang on the front made it look like the model had a front butt. Plus the sequin edging was a hot mess. It was like Lola Falana at the Tropicana.

The sequins on the red dress made me cringe.

The Emmy event was the gifting lounge, where stars can go and basically pick out a lot of free crap companies donate for the publicity. (It's the equivalent of a gift bag, only much more ritzy.)

I LOATHED the red dress. It reminded me of Kevin's season 4 dress from the prom dress challenge in that it made the model's boobs look like sandbags.

I was really wrong about my original post.

That is so awesome! I want to go to one.

But it is sort of interesting to see what goes on backstage from the models' points of view. Not sure, but it might have made more sense to do a longer show at the end of the season that summarized their experiences over the entire course of the season.

Yeah, that is pointless, especially when you normally see it on Project Runway anyway.

re: Project Runway Season 6 on Lifetime Thread!

I was so happy to see Chris-- he seems like a sweetheart and truly grateful to be there, and he pulled off some pretty great stuff. I was a bit freaked out to see Mountaha from "Make Me a Supermodel" as one of his models, though.

I did not think that Jeffrey could be more obnoxious-looking, but the biker pornstache was terrible. At least his behavior didn't seem incredibly hideous, but I just apparently have leftover resentment from when he won his season.

Korto may just have a naturally flat way of speaking and clearly isn't a perky person. I mean, she could be an utter evil wench, I don't know, but it could be partially editing.

I, too, think that Daniel won on the strength of his red carpet dress more than anything-- they weren't going to send Nichole Kidman down the red carpet in gray plaid wool.

As to the new people, it always takes a bit to see how the personalities are going to play out and how people will design. The guy who nearly sent out a nude model seems to have some pretty large time-management problems, though.

The woman voted off, well... her dress reminded me of a geodesic dome. A badly constructed one.

It didn't even remind me of a dress! I thought I saw some shorts.

re: Project Runway Season 6 on Lifetime Thread!

Sadly, you know there are some people out there who would totally be all over having some crazy woman stand on her head and "read" then to figure out their "perfect" dress. I am not sure whether I should hope that this woman finds these people or not. re: Project Runway Season 6 on Lifetime Thread!

I saw the second half of the all-star challenge. I too am worried about Chris's health. The man is HUGE and sleeps constantly. Daniel is adorable. Jeffery is disgusting. Korto is a total bitch.

I didn't watch the new cast because of RHWOA. I dvr'ed it though.

I'm just now watching the allstar challenge. Santino's antics aren't working for me.

I also worry about Chris. He's put on a great deal of weight, sleeps all the time, etc.

re: Project Runway Season 6 on Lifetime Thread!

I didn't see the all-star challenge except for a few minutes. I dislike Jeffery and Santino. Jeffery was so nasty in his season, and I just didn't get Santino's designs. Actually, I didn't really get Chris either, although he is nicer.

re: Project Runway Season 6 on Lifetime Thread!

I like Daniel, but I don't quite get his win over Korto last night. That being said, she could have been a lot more gracious in her loss. Her dresses were beautiful. I also liked what Sweet P designed.

I noticed that one of Chris' models was Montaha from Make Me a Super Model, but I also noticed that they didn't give her much camera time in comparison to the other models. I wonder if that was done on purpose as she participated in a show on Bravo.

Glad that "out there" chick was eliminated.
