If Ermond or Armand doesn't like his model, why pick her every time? I can't stand that he does his little sigh and head rubbing every week. If you don't like the chick, don't pick her. Oy!

I'm disappointed in tonight's decision...

So am I, Addy. I think the person who went home had a lot of creative potential. I was really sad to see them go.

I'm disappointed that we have to listen to at least two more episodes of the winner's passive-aggressive bitchiness.

Before this challenge, I would never have picked the loser to go home, but I can't fault the judgment. Even ignoring the ugly-as-sin garment he made, I can't imagine him ever making it to Fashion Week, so I don't see it as a huge loss that he left this week instead of in the next three weeks.

PR USUALLY bases their decision on the current piece and not the body of work.

I think the people that fell into the bottom were for the most part stronger designers and the choice was probably pretty difficult.

I didn't think they would go with the winner.....they seemed to praise the other two top designers. I love the guy (I don't know their names) that has no formal training.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I agreed with the top three, but not in that order. My favorite was Epperson's, then Christopher's, and then Nicholas.

And I'm sorry, I like Gordana.

I HATED the winning garment. It looked like something out of a box in the halloween display at Target.

I cant disagree with the judges, but I wanted to see more from Ra'mon even though his apostrophe is ridiculous.

I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. They tended to at least have a grip on the body of work the participants had created, even if sometimes they got a bit too stuck on that. With all these guest judges, it becomes rather more scattered.

I also was not thrilled with the description of this challenge. Maybe more was said that we television viewers didn't see, but they didn't say, "Make a garment for a character in this genre AND give it a modern twist," but some of the judges were acting as if that were the challenge. Except with Shirin's Can-Can/Saloon Girl outfit, which somehow did not get called out for unoriginality, while Gordana's did?

^^^^

Nor did they ever use the word 'costumey'...

It was unclear if they should have made an ACTUAL period piece, or modernizen them. I thought the flapper outfit was PERFECTION and the judges ragged on it.

The saloon girl outfit look just like any saloon girl costume that costs around $30.00.

I didn't care for the denim ruffle dress. Or the winner. He's a snotty douche bag.

I know Michael Kors will be back next week, but where has Nina Garcia been. Usually in past episodes when she hasn't appeared, the would say, "filling in for Nina Garcia is so and so". They don't even say that anymore.

I didn't particularly the winning dress and felt that Ramon should have stayed.

I am totally missing NYC, and I am feeling it, as they are keeping the designers inside a lot more. LA is not as dynamic a city. I really don't like the revolving door of judges lately. To be perfectly honest, the judges contradict themselves left and right, the challenges are always vague and winning a challenge or being hated all boils down to luck. There was some serious s@#t up on that Runway and the winning garment was a serious grade school Snow Queen play costume. Seriously, Gordana had created a sumptuous outift, but she was too literal. Give me a a BREAK! I hate these low rent judges. If the broad on the panel was Oscar nominated why was she in a polyester suit and looked like the night manager at McDonalds. She was nominated for Walk The Line, so ok, she designed black suits and some Laura Ashley knock-offs for Reese. Yea, she's a trend setter. UGH!

Once again I thought Christopher got ripped off. His design was the best one out there imo. It was gorgeous! I didn't like the winner's design at all...it DID look like any costume at a Halloween store. And yeah, where is Nina Garcia??

There aren't any outrageous designers competing this season. Who are we going to talk about? The show's a little boring.

They knocked off the outrageous designers in the first two episodes.

Nina and Michael are not regulars anymore because they live in NYC and it's too expensive and time consuming to bring them in.

For me, not having the same judges every week takes away from the consistency of the judging.

I was just watching this past week's episode again, and was really struck by how inconsistent the judging was. On the one hand they criticized some dresses for being too 'costumey' and on the other, they criticized for not being 'costumey' enough...

I really didn't like the judges this past week.
I do miss Michael and Nina!

I really like Carol Hannah and Logan. I enjoy their creations and I enjoy both of them. I'm rooting for them!!

I second what everyone says ... Christopher should have won for sure.

I actually look forward now to Models after ... that's the real juicy and fun stuff.

I agree. I don't understand this. People who did mediocre work week after week got through a few times.

As this was Christopher's 3rd week in a row in the bottom 3, I feel that he should have gone. Shirin (sp?) was never in the bottom. I just don't get it, especially since the comments towards Christopher's design were a lot more negative.
