Yay, that's the dress I thought should win. And kudos to Chris, for breaking out from his retro costume mode. I thought his was one of the best.
SPOILERS
They made clothes out of materials they grabbed in the Times Square Hershey's Store. Rami, Jillian, and Chris were the top three, with Rami's wrapping paper and vinyl dress beating out Jillian's Twizzlers and Chris's Warhol-inspired strapless dress for the win. Sweet Pea, Elisa, and Victorya were the bottom three, with Elisa's frumpy Gretel being sent home instead of Sweet Pea's blah foil and tissue dress and Victorya's ruffly white costume.

So glad that Elisa is gone!
I'll kind of miss her, actually. She always seemed like she was on the verge of making something much better than she actually did, and the spaciness was refreshing with all the rampant uptightness and cynicism on the show.
yeah, but she was a little too weird for me.
Chris' was actually my favorite.
SPOILERS
I actually was not that crazy about Rami's dress. The skirt was cute, though. I was hoping Chris would win.
I wanted Victorya gone, honestly. I hated her outfit. Plus, I'm a fan of Elisa, but her dress was pretty bad.
I have an odd feeling their "clients" are going to be kids next week.
I was amazed at how well Jillian's dress turned out after all the issues and drama she had with it. I have to say I really didn't expect much from her in the beginning of the season, but she's been pretty consistant so far. I actually was surprised by her daring choise and edgier look tonight.(Even with Twizlers!) I generally think of her as a little more tailored and preppy. She's really growing on me.
As far as kids being the clients next week, I don't think so. There was a quick scene in the preview where Sweet Pea is holding some fabric over her boobs and said something like, "She likes her butt to stick out." It looked like she was designing something Marilyn-esque. I hope that's not for kids. My first thought was J-Lo (the butt comment...I think I defaulted to her). I really don't know, though.
I have to say that I think Chris did a great job, but I would have loved to see what he'd do if he did go all out and make the "parade float" outfit he mentioned...his over-the-top stuff is AMAZING, especially the wigs. If you haven't checked out his website...you should. Especially as theatre people, I think we all can appreciate his creativity.

I agreed with the top 3 and bottom 3 choices tonight. It would have been interesting to see if Sweet pea would have been in bottom 3 if she actually stuck with her first design and completed it. It did look pretty bad when she was working on it, but you never know if she had finished it- she may have been 3rd from last vs 2nd. I was just so glad that Christian wasn't even in the top 3. He is way to cocky and is getting on my nerves. I think the dress Chris made for this show was the first one of his I lied. Although it would have been interesting to see him go all out; it was very smart game play for him to go more conservative. In all honesty, his dress was the most wearable of the top 3- which has never been the case in the past.
I actually like Elisa, but from the beginning I just knew she would be out today.
And was that cry-baby Ricky crying in next weeks' previews? Man I can't stand him.
Yes Daydreamer, that was Ricky crying yet again.
I thought it was interesting to hear Elisa talk about her accident. I wonder how much of her spaciness is related to the head injury or was she like that before the accident.
Hearing more about Elisa's background was definitely interesting. I love that she named her daughter Calliope. I actually think it's a really pretty name, but I think I'd feel significantly differently if I were her daughter.
I'll miss Elisa. She just exuded a positivity that didn't seemed forced or fake. The backstory of her accident in London made me realize that, for some people, just getting there and lasting as long as they could was the win. She's a good egg with a fascinating aesthetic and I hope she does very well for herself in whatever she chooses.
I also love Christian. Unabashedly. Love his designs. Love his ego. Love everything about him.
My ideal final, at this point, would be Christian, Rami and Jillian with, maybe, Kevin as a wild card.
I love Kevin's stuff -- and his clothes too.
My final three are Kevin, Jillian and Rami.

I wish they could have had a top four last night. Christian's dress was fabulous.
I loved Christian's, Rami's and Jillian's. Classic stuff!
I also really liked Weepy's dress. I thought it was actually one of the more successful challenges for most of the cast.
But I still want to slap the poop out of Victorya. Ugh.
I may be clouded with lust, but I am very impressed with Kevin's, um, designs...Rami is the Laura of this season to me...good designs with SUCH precision, but not my favorite. I like Christian as television, and he is a good designer, but that was just boring to me. It looked like a piece of a Homecoming float with those reese's florets....so what? Hot glue stuff on an old pattern.
I'm loving the heck out of Jillian, and thought she deserved the win last night..."she smells good, too!"
I really liked Elisa, her spirit and her energy...but NOT her clothes...she deserved to go weeks ago.

The top of RIcky's dress was beautifully done and it fit the model perfectly, but I wasn't crazy about the bottom.
I LOVED the bottom of Weepy's dress. Whimsical, fun and still a wearable garment.
I thought Christian's idea to use the Reese's wrappers was genius, but the dress itself was rather pedestrian.
I'm so glad Jillian was able to execute her design. I really didn't think it would happen. I like Jillian and Rami a lot. I also like it that the "personalities" haven't been as over the top as in the Santino, Vincent and Tatooed Neck years.
Christian needed to bump it up by using the gold wrappers in some way to add a bit of pop.
I liked Christian's dress alot better when Michael did it with coffee filters.
