"Not everyone can pull off a HELLO, DOLLY! wig! "
LOL-he can't either!
Spoilers, I suppose:
According to AOL TV, tonight the designers must create prom dresses for "giggling teenage clients." I can imagine it will be annoying!
hey, I love it! The possibilities are endless!
True! I'm always excited when gowns are being made.
I just laughed to myself-I imagined Chris going back to his "retroglam' look, and I pictured a teenager in it-padded shoulders and all. oy!
Chloe Dao should be in this one...

Yes, this would have been a really good fit for Chloe.
Her final Bryant Park collection was awful, though! Daniel and Santino had better collections.
I loooove any kind of gown challenge. Andre's gutter water dress was so beautiful it made me lose my mind.
Wow. I actually called it last week that this week would be kids!
Ah, ricky got the crying in nice and early!
He did! And I yelled out, he's going home. I hope not though!
And I thought the Flinstone's joke was funny!
EEEww, a tattoo neck commercial~
Wow.
Totally disagree with the final result.
The dress that the one who lost made wasn't THAT bad. They must have really wanted to keep the one who ALMOST lost around, but he absolutely deserved to lose.
(I'm trying to share without naming names, for those who haven't seen it yet...)
hey, can anyone tell me what happened this week (with Spoilers?) thanks!
SPOILERS
They had to design prom gowns for teenagers, who were the models. Christian had the roughest time, since his model had specific ideas, was a designer herself who grabbed the pencil and started drawing her gown. Christian almost gave up, but kept going, ending up with a pretty gown. His criticism and almost elimination came from the fact that he was putting some of the blame on the girl for the trouble he had with her dress.
I liked Kit and Jillian's gowns the best. They were safe, but not in the top two.
Rami, in my opinion, had the most awful, drab, dreary, draped dress (olive green for a prom) which made the teenager look like her grandmother.
Victoria won, with Sweet P coming in second.
Kevin was sent home. he made a cocktail length bright red dress that needed hemming but he chose not to do it. The criticism was that hem, and also that the dress was matronly.

I'm not happy with who got kicked off tonight's show.
spoilers!!
aww, kevin was awesome! Rami isn't that brilliant. good for Christian, for sticking it out.
Keving should have listened and hemmed that dress. Although I am not sure it would have helped.
Oh, I made a mistake. Kevin did that bright red thing. Who did the short little poofy thing with bad roushing?
FYI- Kevin's wasn't the pale boring dress- that was Ricky- I wish he was the one who got kicked off. Kevin dod the red dress. I'm disappointed he is gone. I liked some of his other things. Rami is lucky he had immunity; that didn't look anything like a prom dress or an evening gown. What a drab color for what is suppose to be a fun evening. Although Christian annoys me, I felt bad for him this week; he was the oly one who got a sassy teenager. Boy was her taste poor- lace, chains, etc. I can only imagine what that dress would have looked like if he did everything she wanted.
I changed my post already, thanks, Sesot.
I felt really bad for Christian because he knew he was damned if he did, damned if he didn't. If he had followed his personal vision that girl would have badmouthed him to hell on that stage (although she would've probably had a really hot dress). It's not his fault he got stuck with an incredibly tacky teenager. Thought the one blond chick who yelled at him for blaming her was totally out of hand. I think Christian's a bit full of himself and maybe this will put him in his place. He's very talented.
I like Rami but I think he can use the editing... this was not a good week for him.
Kevin doesn't register with me at all. I can't think of one dress he's made. Ricky should've gone though. That dress was a bag.
Ricky made the poofy dress that washed his model out. He absolutely should have been the one to go home. Neither Kevin nor Christian made a good dress, and Christian got himself into deeeeep poop blaming his client, but their past performance was more than enough to kepp them around, in my opinion. Ricky hasn't made a single thing I've liked besides the dress he made with Jack, and he's been in the bottom three over and over again.
Also... I want his crying behind off my TV screen. Kthxbye.
I think a lot of the dresses were pretty and well-made tonight. I don't know if there are any of them that I would really want to wear. I do think that Victorya's is the most "now" dress. It's one of the hottest colors of the season and the jewels are really in...as is the bubble hem. I'm not her biggest fan, but I see where they were coming from in picking her tonight. I was happy to see Sweet P do something more elegant than she usually does. Christian was cracking me up this time. I agree that maybe he needed to be put in his place a little, but I do really think that his client was difficult and little bit annoying.
I have to say that each episode I just love Chris more and more. The last few shows we've seen him get through and try to tone down his aesthetic. I think that's cool, but I'd would really love to see him let loose. I thought it was hilarious that he was scared for the girl and her mom to have seen his portfolio.
Oh and I loved when Victorya asked her client why she thought they'd work well together and the girl said, "Well, I got the last choice..." HA!
Well, I'll just go ahead and name names now. (I didn't want to give away any spoilers in my first post).
I truly don't think Kevin made the worst dress. He did NOT deserve to lose this competition. However, he was kicked off because he doesn't make the show as 'interesting' as Christian does... although I like Kevin very much, he's not the character that Christian is.
I believe Christian should have been kicked off tonight. His dress did NOT fit his model (the back was horrendous!), and his attitude was inexcusible. He may be a 'designer', but his 'job' in the challenge was to make a dress tha was wearable and that his client liked. Instead of listening and trying to work with her, while helping her to understand his point of view, he pitched a little pity party and wanted to 'quit'. He deserved to lose tonight.
Ricky has turned in consistently poor designs, and tonight was no exception. It was boring. But, it didn't fail the way Christian's did.
