uncageg, Chloe won in Season 2, so Jillian wouldn't have been the first woman to win.

uncageg, no. Chloe Dao won S2.
Loved Christian's reaction and I am very happy for him!
I still would have liked to have seen Chris March's collection on the runway.
That's right. I forgot. Thanks.
I loved Jillian's collection in pictures, and a lot of her knitwear was fantastic, but seeing it on the runway changed my mind. It just didn't move like I would have liked it to.
I definitely thought Rami was going to win from the judging. The worst thing they could come up with about him was that he wasn't great with colors? Granted, that raspberry was FUGLY, but still. I'm actually surprised they didn't call him out more on fit issues, like with the raspberry version of the first blue dress he sent out. It looked like a trash bag on the model! That said, his gowns were STUNNING and he's clearly going to have a long career in awards shows etc.
I'm just so happy for Christian. He was obviously helped by the fact that his aesthetic is so British and Posh-like, and the poofy shoulders did get a wee bit repetitve. But his construction is flawless, his point of view is very specific, and his sense of drama is unparalleled. A well-deserved win, for the first time that I've seen, in my opinion.
Ferosha Coutura for the win!
They are rebroadcasting the January interview with Christian on Feast of Fools. Didn't know he did one with them. Going to check it out. Oh, and congrats to him. He is a very talented young man. Fierce! And we have to look out for Ms. Beckham in one of his pieces.
Very pleased with the results, although for me it was between Jillian and Christian. Rami's collection just wasn't cohesive, despite the beautiful eveningwear.

The outcome was predictable, but I was bored out of my mind with Christian's designs. Is he designing for Shakespearean festivals? Rami's collection was feminine, beautiful, and his gowns were stunning. My entire family watched it as a PR party, and everyone (eight of us) thought Rami's collection was the best. I was surprised that Jillian came in third as I was convinced Rami would be third no matter how good his collection. I think if someone else had been the guest judge that Christian may not have won as Heidi seemed to like Rami's collection the best which makes sense as he makes clothes that women can wear.
i agree that Christian's win was entirely predictable but I really disagree with the decision... I just think he showed that skinny pant with the jacket WAY too many times. Sure his collection was the most cohesive, but wasn't it the most cohesive because he kept showing the same outfit over and over and over again?
It was predictable that Christian would win. I agree that it may have been different without Posh Spice. His collection was cohesive, but the first half was very repetitive and boring. I wish Jilian or Rami had won. Both of their collections are more wearable. i wonder if Jilian had won if she would have shown us more emotion. Her losing was the most I think we have seen the entire season.
Christian definitely deserved the win. Without a DOUBT! Yes, it was predictable and that is because he was 10 times better than everyone else. He was my pick from the very first episode and I think his final collection spoke for itself. He is SO talented and very cabable of being a fashion legend. That final dress was beautiful and of course FIERCE!
I am looking forward to seeing him in the future and I'm sure I will be wearing his designs in no time. Can't wait to see them!

Christian's final collection was my least favorite (not that I didn't think it was good). I couldn't decide between Jillian or Rami, but I'm sure all three of them will find success in the fashion industry.
I love Christian, and think he is mega talented, but I he came in third for me...I think Rami's collection was beautiful and the best overall collection. I loved what Jillian did, but the gold dress seemed very out of place and it ruined the flow for me. Christian's collection was so costumey (sp) and so like what he did on the show already.
All three were great, but I'd rather it went:
Rami (first)
Jillian (close second)
Christian (third)
Chris' collection was my actual favorite.
Didnt Jillian already get a job offer on the show? All three deserve great careers.
My first impression of Christian's show was, "enough with the skinny pants already". I thought all three collections last night looked much better shown in context of the runway show rather than the photographs on Bravo's website.
I am very happy that Christian won. When I first looked at the pictures online last week I thought that it seemed a little over designed but I liked when I saw it moving down the runway.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of him. I think Michael Korrs and Rami make a good point in that it remains to be seen if he can design clothes for regular women and not models.
Any of the three could have won, I thought. I was happy for Christian. He was the most consistent throughout the season and I am sure there was a bit of a "lets reward him for making this season so entertaining" element in the decision.
It was so obvious that Victoria Beckham absolutely loved him. This was definitely my favorite season so far. Now for Project Runway withdrawal.
Cool interview with him. This was done in January about a month before fashion week.

Nice article from USA Today:
Fieceness
Go Team Fierce!
Beckham always looks like she needs to take a shower and wash her face. I don't know much about her except for the Spice Girls and her husband, how did she get to be a "fashion icon"?
I didn't know she has her own line of clothing. I still think they should have had someone more connected with the fashion world as a judge.
"Beckham always looks like she needs to take a shower and wash her face. I don't know much about her except for the Spice Girls and her husband, how did she get to be a "fashion icon"?"
HA! I agree, and her husband has a scuzzy look about him, too!
And, fashion icon? With that hairdo?
Eh, Christian's collection was my least favorite of the three. With the exception of the feather dress, I was actually sort of bored with it. And it just didn't look as well-constructed as the other two collections.
I thought Rami knocked it out of the park with his collection. Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with the cranberry and teal, but I figured, hey, the 80s are making a comeback, so he's probably on target. His draping, construction and choice of fabrics was impeccable.

A Spice Girl married the biggest soccer player in Europe. They are considered celebrity royalty in the UK and much of Europe. Celebrity royalty "hotties" are always considered fashion icons, regardless of how they look or what they wear. Since they are consistently in the spotlight, every designer wants them to wear their clothes, thus they have endless lines of couture at their fingertips.
Not to mention that this fashion icon topped Mr. Blackwell's Worst Dressed List this year. Not that it's much of a distinction, but I fail to see going around looking like a robot makes you an "icon." As far as her hair, I'm also rocking an asymetrical bob. However, I make DAMN sure to let my stylist know that I don't want it anywhere near that severe.
Jillian's was my favorite collection by FAR, with Christian a close second. Maybe I'm still bitter about last week, but the only looks I loved from Rami were the gowns at the end. Jillian's was fresh and fun--I would buy many of the pieces that she designed.
*sigh* How long until the next season?

Too long! In the meantime, I'll watch Top Chef.
