Since Christian's line was mostly black I think we did not see a lot of detail and the design touches that the judges may have seen. In fact, didn't Michael say something about being hard to see even in the front row?

Showing the judges "supposed" reactions throughout the show drove me crazy. I want to see the clothes, not the people in the audience.

Sono, I was thinking the same thing!! I thought "Are they even looking at the clothes?!" And I noticed Victoria looking in the opposite direction of the model passing by her a few times as if she was wondering who was looking at her! And if Michael Kors had taken those darned sunglasses off, he might have seen some of the details!

I hated Christian's collection, but I fully expected him to win. My pick was Jillian.

Oh and Bravo blew the "surprise" on their promos when they showed Heidi facing to her left and saying "Congratulations". When the three designers came out and Christian was last, there was the answer.

I haven't read through the lastest posts, so if this was already pointed out, oops..

I thought all 3 collections were very good, but I must admit I wanted to rip out some of the shoulder pads on Rami's dresses.

I loved the FOF interview with Christian.

It's been interesting watching PR for the first time this season (halfway through, my first episode was the prom dress episode). It's been fun, watching each week with 2 of my roommates, one a Parsons student, so he always has interesting things to say in terms of the designs and such.

Right away, he said Jillian was going to finish third because her collection wasn't cohesive. Totally not something I would have noticed, but, that's why I'm at Lang and he's at Parsons. And he was going absolutely gaga over some of the stitches in Rami's dresses. There were 2 or 3 that I had to agree were gorgeous.

So we were all pulling for Rami, even though we were pretty certain Christian would win (my roommate actually knew for a fact he won, as many of his friends participated in fashion week -- in fact, one of the sewer helpers to Jillian in the finale was his friend, so he was excited to see her on TV. Heh.

I think it was a very telling thing in Chris' interview when he said if he made the exact same line as Christian, he would have been criticized for making it too costume-y.

Anyway, all 3 are quite talented, and it's been fun watching and learning.

Just watched the rebroadcast; I loved Jillian's collection even more. Christian was very cute at the end when he said to Victoria Beckham: "we'll be in touch."

They totally edited Rami's beautiful speech when he came out to show his collection. What a shame!

I thought Rami's collection was stunning. They didn't show as well on TV (more editing...), but the details were exquisite and the colors were much more interesting than they appeared on the screen.

I actually predicted Jillian would win (because I didn't think they'd reward Rami), because Christian's collection was more of his same look (skinny pants, puffy sleeves, etc.), and Jillian's added such interesting new elements.

So much for my predictions...

I think Rami should have won. But understand why they rewarded Christian.

Victoria Beckham. Bleh.

I just realized that Tim didn't do an audio blog on the Bravo website this season. It also mentioned it would have clips of unseen footage (i.e., the hideous model casting), but I haven't seen any.

There was "unseen footage" (about 45 seconds of it) during Make Me a Supermodel last night, which claimed they would be seen "nowhere else."

SO upset that I really haven't had a chance to see the final show in it's entirety. BRAVO usually repeats the shows like mad ... I get the east coast feed for some reason, and they always repeat the show at 10 pm local time, which they didn't do for the last episode, and they didn't rerun during the weekend. *sigh*

So randomly on Friday Ricky came into my beauty school. I guess he is doing a show in Escondido with is pretty close to where I go to school. A friend of mine at school grew up with him I guess and she said that he is now working with Levi. I guess they really liked the dress that he designed for that challenge.He was very friendly....

So.... I am so excited for today..

I guess that after Ricky left he asked his friend, who I go to school with, If she would ask me if I would help out with his fashion show today for his lingerie line. I guess I am going to be dressing models!!!

Anyways.. just thought I would share! I am really excited about this since this is really what I would like to get into! I'm hoping I can get my hands on some of the models hair=-)
