Le1f is honestly just hating. Both of their albums/mixtapes came out around the same time. Actually, I think Macklemore's was released earlier.
Anyway, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis donated all proceeds of a limited edition 2000 vinyl single printing of Same Love to the marriage equality battle in Washington State. He also asked out lesbian singer/songwriter Mary Lambert to collaborate on the track (she wrote and performed the chorus) so that it was more true to the marriage equality movement.
What has Le1f done for LGBT rights other than be an out gay rapper? What's that? Nothing? Then shut up and do some work. I mean, at least Azealia Banks keeps cursing out Perez Hilton for being a douche.
