I wasn't going to watch but seeing how Danielle was gone, I decided to give it a try. Its actually much better without her. Teresa's family seems really strained. Poor Gia crying.

I knew that this season would bring the drama. There's truly no point to having it if there isn't drama. And, thankfully, this one gets it going right from the start. Love it.

Honestly, that new girl makes Teresa look like Kate Middleton. She looked like she was pulled off sunset boulevard in that pink dress at the christening.

I love that the Manzos are footing the bill for Chris to find himself, in all his stripper-car-wash glory...
Their daughter and her boyfriend gained a lot of weight, probably bc Caroline gives her absolutely no attention or encouragement and is just waiting to get her married off. Really sad..

Caroline crying over the boys really needs to stop. How many times can she do that on camera and say, "no, really, please... I can't do this." It's getting pathetic at this point. Her daughter gets absolutely no attention and the boys get the red carpet.

With the exception of Albie, every single male shown during the ninety minutes had major fork to mouth action happening. The boyfriend barely looked up from the plate during that dinner table scene.

I caught parts of a repeat in the wee hours of the morning so I didn't see all of it. However, I did see how Jackie's daughter got an internship in New York with one of the most famous publicists. Did anyone explain HOW she got this job- even if it is non-paid? Also thought it was funny that she was complaining about the commute and how she sometimes couldn't get to work. PAHLEEZE! How does a lazy girl who did poorly in school get an opportunity like this in the real world? Geesh!

I'm so happy that there's an active BWW Housewives thread again. How I missed this. My friend and I watched this last night over gchat and we were both like "what....what???....what?!!"

What exactly is wrong with Kathy's husband? With all that money he couldn't spare some for cosmetic dentistry? Kathy's daughter looks like Jonbenet Ramsey.

I see now where Ashley's personality comes from - it's Jacqueline! What an inappropriate place to have a discussion about your daughter's responsibilities. Neither of them has any boundaries or social sense - even when her husband was trying to talk to Ashley calmly, Jacqueline kept butting in.

It pisses me off that so many hard-working, responsible young people are unable to find jobs and internships, yet that tool waltzes in in her miniskirt and acts like she's entitled to the world. Why didn't they fire her when she didn't show up every day? To quote Devil Wears Prada, a million girls would kill for that job...

I think it's because a million other girls aren't on a highly visible reality series. That's free publicity for Lizzy Grubman...so Ashley gets a pass.
